I was always curious if 'naomi' is an european (or from somewhere else?) name or japanese. I've heard of japanese people who have the name but also people like naomi campbell.

Naomi finds its origin in the Bible it is not French at all but English. Naomi for some reason is also Japanese. Anyone noticed how Chinese and English often share names or words like Sun ?!
