Hello, I am an undergraduate student majoring in Psychology at York University in Toronto, Canada (I'm also biracial). For my 4th year honors thesis research project I am conducting a short web-based survey involving biracial individuals who have a White parent and a non-White parent. The goal of the study is to increase our understanding of how biracial individuals perceive their racial identity. If you choose to participate, information provided will remain confidential and you will remain anonymous. Those who complete the survey will also be able to enter a draw for a $100 CAN gift certificate for a major North American retail chain. The study is being supervised by Dr. Richard Lalonde at York University (http://www.psych.yorku.ca/lalonde/) and all procedures will meet the ethical standards of the institution. You may contact me at carlosw@yorku.ca if you have any questions. If you choose to participate you may click the link below. Please ensure that you have about 10 minutes to complete the survey. Once you begin, you will not be able to finish at a later date. Thank you for your time and consideration. www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=SPG8ygAVsXnsCv65Iy3pgg_3d_3d
