I'm afraid Liverpool are the only big team I didn't manage to see. But as you know...I'm not much of a Liverpool fan! Here's another pic: Ryan Giggs in full stride. He scored the goal in this game which ManU won 1-0. I use a slow shutter for most of my photography, so apologies if a blurred image isn't to your liking!

Mmmhh...
My first job was in a place named Taiwan Tea Palace... I used to open, clean, cook, prepare, sell, count the money and close... at the beginning I just prepared the drinks... but later my boss wanted me to do all those things for the same salary and I just quit (oh, and he used to look at my facebook profile to complain about how I express myself there!!!!)
Later I worked at a bar "Ibex Rock Bar" as a barman... it was easy.
Then I was a waiter at a "Men's Club"
Now I'm an emplyee of Teleperformance Mexico and I say all day long... "Thanks for calling AT&T about your wireless service..." usually in spanish (Gracias por llamar a AT&T acerca de su servicio móvil, le atiende David Botello, ¿con quién tengo el gusto?) I don't know why people keep buying things they don't know how to use!!!!!

My first job was Selma City Bar and Grill. I lasted under two hours and then caused an insurrection. Took about 5 other guys with me! =) Before anyone criticizes that, don't bother. You're probably a restaurant owner yourself... In which case, I hope you go bankrupt.

My experience in America (primarily California) has been a lot of Chinese restaurants are run and owned by Chinese, but staffed with Mexicans.
In fact, many so-called Japanese and Korean restaurants are run and owned by Chinese and staffed by Mexicans. Viet and Thai seem to be owned and operated by Viet and Thai respectively, but still staffed with Mexicans.

A lot of people staff with Mexicans here... most because what I said above. That restaurant owners are the scourges of the earth. They'll drive to work in a mercedes or porsche, jack up food prices, have no concept of human relations, and overwork their employees and pay little -- and if they can get away with it - which they do - they don't even have employees. They have illegal aliens who they overwork even more and pay even little than legitimate workers. One of the biggest restaurants here just got busted hard last week though.. Almost the entire staff was a illegal. Out of business. Good riddance. People should cook their own food anyways.

^not all of us have found signifigant others to indulge our late-night pad thai needs.sometimes you've got to go out. i hear about asian restaurants in CA being staffed with mexicans all the time, but i've never seen it!granted i haven't been south of Santa Cruz since i was itty bitty,so maybe it's primarily in SoCal where this happens?most of the asian restaurants where i live (and in Sacramento) are family businesses with barely enough staff members to run.

I really don't know... but here in Mexico every chinese restaurant I know of is run by chinese people, from Taiwan and mainland China. Most of them bring young chinese guys to work there, others like the one I used to work in hire local, i.e. mexican staff. I thought our "paisas" in the US sold only tacos... =P
