^Fuzzy math won't get you into Cal, sport! Polls show Rudy beats Hillary, who runs circles around all the Dems. Use your brain kiddo, Hilary voted for the war. I hate that bitch and would never vote for her. Too bad elitist democrats who are more stuck on family hierarchy will get her in. If you actually read Guliani's policy's, sans crime, the guy isn't qualified at all to be president. Waving a flag and saying he did well in 9/11 might convince idiot Americans to vote her in.

Theres something about Barack-Hussein-Obama i dont care for.And i think alot of people are swooning over him because hes a minority. But Its still too early for me to make a decision here and something positive and negative can be said about all of them so. Having said that, I actually don't know much about politics, but I do know back in college we read articles "attacking" Guiliani for the impound ordinance and I rather liked him. He was also responsible for literally cleaning up NYC was he not? I'd rather have him, someone with some balls to handle tough situations than someone like Hilary. Yeah he pretty much cleaned this city up.Even though he ran a tight-ship at times i think he was exactly what this city needed.I also dont know of many people here who were unhappy with his run.I like him and i would vote for him even though hes a republican. @ Freecia - my concern with Guiliani is we already have concerns about civl liberties losing ground with homeland security/Patriot Act wiretaps etc and people claimed He used Gestapo tactics in NYC as a mere mayor. I just don't want too much unchecked power in any candidate. Likewise regarding 9/11 - I live across from it, literally watched it and went through it , and while he was highly visible there wasn't anything he really did except appear to care, which is what any mayor or any genuine human being would have done. Not to take away from him but I also think people give him and Bush this aura of awe like they were really taking some sort of action or achieving something after it happened. I dont think anyone couldve forseen terrorists using commercial airplanes as guided-missles in an attack.Sure he might have made mistakes but IMO i think he handled 9/11 well and it might have given him the experience necessary to run a country.

None taken, just interested to hear your opinion.
With the global warming, I think it's a serious problem that needs to be dealt with immediately and Al Gore seems to be doing that and I think he could do a lot more if he were president of the U.S.A.

Okay, I see a lot of people here complaining about the "amnesty" for illegal aliens in the U.S. If you are opposed to it, then what practical solutions do you have for the 12 million illegals who are ALREADY here in the U.S.? Should we have a wholesale deportation of 12 million people? Don't mean to hijack this thread.
Btw, I prefer McCain over all the rest of these candidates. He's a moderate and a centrist who has shown in the past willingness to work with the other party.

@ Freecia - my concern with Guiliani is we already have concerns about civl liberties losing ground with homeland security/Patriot Act wiretaps etc and people claimed He used Gestapo tactics in NYC as a mere mayor. I just don't want too much unchecked power in any candidate. That's a good question that I constantly ask myself. Do we give up our privacy in the exchange of possibly preventing another 9/11 from happening? What is the fair price to pay to prevent another 9/11? If we do loose our civil rights, are we even considered "free" anymore? For me, I think.... and I only think this way because I don't have the experience of being surveillanced for everything I do, but if being surveillanced means preventing crimes- on a large or small scale from happening, I'd probably agree to it. Sounds scary, doesn't it? As for unchecked power.... isn't this what the three branches are for? Each of the branches keeps another in check so no particular branch overpowers another? If you actually read Guliani's policy's, sans crime, the guy isn't qualified at all to be president. Waving a flag and saying he did well in 9/11 might convince idiot Americans to vote her in. These idiot American voters happen to take up the majority of the voting population. Only a selected few actually have the time, energy, and interest to know the different views of all presidential candidates. Still then, these people are going to decide who they like based on their own views, experience, beleifs, and other reasons not mentioned. At the end, you have to listen to these 'idiots' because the majority rules. ;D Get over it, like our lives aren't like that already.

Jesus Christ! Even on EAN Ron Paul gets shafted!
Only Rudy McRomney can continue the proud Reagan tradition of the three-legged stool: a solid economy created by buying SUVs on the national Mastercard, talking a lot, and retarded voters.

^ Internment camps - or fear of might motivate a few to leave. Take up all the low paying jobs that the illegals are willing to work, refuse medical care, refuse educatoin for their children, refuse free government aid, etc. They'll leave all on their own, there's no need for internment camps. Now who can tell whether or not I'm being serious or joking.
