I'm boycotting anything Virgin. Planes, too! That's a lot of stuff. Their planes were the only things I used. ;D

^I think it's more the 'TB' stereotype as opposed to the 'FOB' stereotype, from what I understand the two things to mean down here.
Either way, it's extremely disappointing they used her photo like that in a demeaning fashion, without any consent whatsoever. It's not right, and hopefully some form of justice can be done.

Oops!! I did not read the article!
Bearing in mind her age, and her unintentional participation, i guess it is not a laughing matter, and do apologize for my inconsiderateness.
I guess it is one of those ' your going to hell if you laugh' situations.
I may or may not be going to hell... ;D

Maybe she finds being labelled a virgin derogatory.

I thought they need your permission to use their photo and pay them at least if you are going to use them as your advertising poster? It took me a sec to get the joke but overall I think it's in bad taste and kinda surprised that a big company like Virgin didn't dawn on them that some might take it the wrong way unless their whole plan really was to turn asians away from wanting to use Virgin cell phones or was it a big plan to catch guys eye that have a fetish for asian girls and not even read the poster just see the cute innocent asian girl and buy a Virgin cell phone since asian girls dig guys with virgin cell phones

my greatest concern, as someone said before, is its drawing unwanted attention to an underage girl without consent. and whether that is legal or not is not really the question, it is completely immoral. racist however? is that to say the 'your a bloody idiot' australian adds are racist reinforcing australian stereotypes? as for virgin, it just shows unproffesionalism and bad marketing.

companies like Virgin 'claim' to be 'liberal'...but in truth they will do anything to appeal to the masses, even if it means using racism.
