If you were seeing someone, and after a while it became serious, and after a few months this person became fat....would you still stick to the person? Would you tell that person, you don't find her/him attractive anymore, and leave or stay dispite that fact.... I saw this gorgeous girl one time, she was fat, but she had the prettiest eyes, and nice long blond hair, and a lot of junk in the trunk, but I could really tell, if she lost a lot of weight she's be drop dead gorgeous...well anyway...it seems very superficial of me, but it's something that occurs alot.

Flanders, if I had the opportunity to really know this hypothetical person and as a result found her to be very attractive, I would stay with her. I might discuss the topic and see why they feel they must put the weight on, but if they provide an answer that I can not argue with I would simply allow them to continue until they feel they have achieved what they were after.

OH Flanders, why must you always shatter my weakest point in every statement I present. And anyway I wouldn't see her as the fat person she has become, but rather as the girl I had grown to love and her additional weight is only a minor reflection of the increase in love that I have for her.

Finding spare change between those fat roles is a big up, and if you ever loose the tv remote, you know where to look first. ;D

As comical as those comments are, I would have to say that the mind that dwells inside the head of the person I would grow to admire is more important than her physical appeal. Sure at first her appearance might draw me to her, but after getting to know her her looks would take second place. I would rather have an average looking intelligent female companion for life than a drop dead beautiful woman who has no idea.

it all depends on how she carries it. ya, if she carries it all in her rack, ...I'd be sold on her. sorry, it was too obvious and tempting.

well since they dont take care of their body or have self control, i think they probably have low self respect. why would someone be so greedy for food? i would tell them they have to lose weight. i dont find fat people attractive but if they had a good personality and were willing to go on a diet i would stay with them. i dont really care if a person is ugly or not, but i cant stand when people allow themselves to get overweight and dont do anything about it.

That is in only like 1% of the cases. Most of the time they are fat because they eat so much. Its usually just a dumb excuse when they say "I have a thyroid problem, etc" Some people do have high metabolisms, though, so they can eat alot and still be skinny, like I ate four ice creams today and i wont have gained any weight by tomorrow.

Ever see the results of those gastric-bypass surgeries like Al Roker got? They seem to ALWAYS work. I've known two people who got them and they were lifetime fat folks that are now nice and healthy. And is simply from reduced caloric intake. The new Al Roker: The old Al Roker: The results:

Gastric Bypass = Stomach Stapling
am I right?
And I like how on the magazine cover, in order to get people to buy the magazine, they give a quote that says "I'm never going back", but don't reveal *how* he lost the weight. What they neglect to include is that he CANNOT go back. He had SURGERY. They make it sound like he tried some miracle diet that he's *stickin'* to.

Seems like a technique for people without the willpower to correct their excessive intake of food. I've seen all the stuff about how gastric bypass surgery is a life saving technique, but hello? Unless there's some medical condition/disability preventing one from working out, they shouldn't be that fat in the first place. Hell, why am I even saying that, proper eating and diet alone should be enough to prevent obesity levels requiring gastric bypass (my momjust eats healthy and hasn't worked out for a couple of years and has maybe fluctuated 5-6 lbs). Typical average American ego and not taking responsibility, I just hear too many excuses blaming this and that, but not themselves.

My zippers bust, my buckles break I'm too much woman for you to take The pavement cracks when I fall down I've got more chins than Chinatown Well, I've never used a phone booth And I've never seen my toes When I'm goin' to the movies I take up seven rows Because I'm fat, I'm fat, come on (Fat, fat, really really fat) You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it (Fat, fat, really really fat) You know I'm fat, I'm fat, come on you know (Fat, fat, really really fat) Don'tcha call me pudgy, portly or stout Just now tell me once again who's fat..
