I recently got back home from a trip to my native hometown of New Orleans, in which I attended my cousin's wedding. The ceremony was done outside the Benachi House, a historical landmark home located towards the garden district of town. That cousin, as well as many of us in the extended family, lives in another state now, but being that she was born, raised, and lived most of her life in NOLA and that's where her roots are, this was the perfect setting for her wedding. The celebration and festivities had a New Orleans twang to it too I hadn't thought of it before, but I'd like to do something similar for when/if I get married. As guess as that saying goes, you can take the girl out of New Orleans, but you can't take the New Orleans out of the girl- as I'll always be a New Orleans girl at heart no matter where I live

Teehee, the picture is beautiful. Is that where they took their vows as well? On that lawn? I love southern homes and georgian architecture. Yes, they took their vows right above the doorsteps of that house. You're not alone, many folks come into town just to explore these homes and other places of historical value. When I was at this place, it was like attending a wedding ceremony-and-tour in one

The thread title instantly gave me images of a 50s sci-fi movie. Anyway, I would like to get married at a White Castle.

That house reminds of the house from The Skeleton Key

That does have a romantic ring to it. Newly constructed? I suspect used ones are smelly... LOL of course, besides everything does get a little dirty in any 'physical activity' with my gf, besides I've already invested in new mattresses, springs, bedsheets, carseats, and hell the list can go on forever... women are EXPENSIVE. It reminds me of that Will Smith movie Hitch which was pretty funny heh. The end kinda weird though =/ Not smooth bro, not smooth at all, there's romantic then there's just... o.O... O.o ... ooooooook...

Definitely someplace in the nature. As cliché as it sounds, I'd be right at home on the beach, with just my close friends. Those who only wanted to go to a grand wedding could wait for such an invite. My brother did city hall, then rented out a castle in Brittany, THEN the next day, his in-laws invited everyone for another (lunch) reception at their vacation home in a lost forest in Brittany. I have to say a celtic wedding there sounds appealing. Brittany is a gorgeous setting for a wedding. I just don't want to spend much on it. I'd rather keep the money to travel on the honeymoon. ;D Who needs a lavish reception to celebrate love amongst family?

Is it me, or did swinger just admit to an interest in trannies?
