I heard the story on the news and thought it was incredibly sad (and that was before I know about his paraplegia), but had no idea that he was EA. I feel awful that this story means so much more to me with this added info about him and his parents.

Children dying before parents is the most heartbreaking thing, on so many levels, ever. Its the reverse of the natural order. I hope nobody experiences this.

the truth is, that kid's in a better place. (edited flamebait reply before for the mods got to it) Anyway, it's funny that you get mad at Subuatai for disrespecting others' beliefs, yet purport yours to be "the truth".

Nah Chris is fine, I guess I just got carried away in response to this news. Children can really change your life, and it just didn't seem fair for the couple in my opinion.
In mainstream Christianity, it is believed that those who commit suicide will go to hell. My wife is a little bit of a deviant however, she believes God provides more lee-way rather then absolutes. Personally though, this situation just doesn't seem fair. Many people who claim they will never commit suicide may end up doing it with the right amount of deep pain. As human beings, we can't be all strong all the time.
Cruel world unfortunately, may they rest in peace.

Flambait= kind of a s*** stirring post. I didn't want to look like I was trying to start a big religion flamewar, so I changed what I originally wrote.

And to everyone on this forum reading this, don't just read the thread and be sad about someone dying but take it as an opportunity to assess your own lives etc. Why can't I just feel sad about it?

Of course you can >_>... What I said was just kinda like... an encouragement if you get what I mean. I ask because I feel that its not your place to tell me how I should act and feel upon reading this.
