We always have to fly with our visor down (standard operating procedures). Just had an out and in today. It was just over 800NM and logged 4.2 hours. The first leg we flew at .50 mach (not bad for a prop aircraft) My ass seriously hurt now. Not sure if I want to go F-18s. Those ejection seats are torture to fly in. I rocked my check ride. An air force T-38 flew in to millington as well. The funny thing was both pilots were german air force instructors. Me and my instructor were laughing because it had US Air Force in big letters on the jet. I will try to get some pictures of me in all my gear next to the plane. I love that picture, but i'm pretty sure it's p-shopped. I don't believe F-18s have a wing span of 40 feet. ;D

I've been serving as a military psychologist. Compared to clinical work etc it's gotta be one of the most interesting jobs a psych can do.

I am was a serving member of Her majesty's forces until 1999 and I have a retired rank of Lieutenant Colonel. That's a great accomplisment! Kudos to you mate. I can only hope to attain the rank of commander (lt col) or captain (col). Darn navy ranks huh? I guess time will tell after 20+ years of service. we shall see if I even decide to stay in that long.

I'm currently in the Army. I was in the Air Force for six years before I switched over - was a comm officer (which was awful, I do not recommend that career field).
