My right eye has a deep, thick fold/crease (more caucasian-like), but my left eye has a more superficial and smaller crease (still not the typical asian fold...but more asian-like compared to/ my right eye). I have rather prominent double eyelids I would say, even though one sticks out more than the other. Tried to fix it on my own; doesn't work. I guess I was just born that way. Maybe others don't notice, but I do.

Do all asians have some type of epicanthal fold? Have you ever seen some 100% asians without it?

^ Hmmm..I don't know. I don't think I have it myself though. If a 100% asian happens to not have the epicanthal fold, it would automatically make me think they are Eurasian even if they're not. I would think that the absence of an epicanthal fold is a Caucasian trait and that is what makes eyes look "Caucasian-like". My eyes do look a bit asian particularly when I smile though..even when I don't have the epicanthal fold...

Im not sure whether I have some degree of ep. fold or not.... But if so, its very "diluted". Also many northern europeans might have about more or less of a fold than what I have. Like one of my friends she has a very prominent fold and many mistake her for asian/eurasian.

No not all Asians have a prominent epicanthal fold, particularly the farther south in Asia they descend from (Vietnamese, Malay, Thai, Filipino). The warmer climates didn't need the epicanthal fold. The fold was really a form of protection against the bitter cold weather with high speed winds in the tundra and freezing cold areas of Mongolia, Manchuria, and Korea. It also protected against the harmful UV rays that reflected off the snow or in the Gobi desert of Mongolia. If you look at many Asians, you will also notice they have fuller/fatter faces (they're not necessarily fat) and limbs. Very stocky body types. I think this has to do with heat storage during winter. I've noticed myself that many white Scandinavians have particularly slanted eyes in comparison with other white groups. This could just be a coincidence, or it could be for the same reasons of living in colder climates. In contrast, here is a southern Asian (Aung Suu Kyi, who is Burmese) who has very prominent eyelids: Not unsual at all amongst people in Myanmar and surrounding areas, as they simply do not need the fold in their warmer tropical climate.

She looks like partly Indian or something.
I got fat cheeks from my dad, and hes Vietnamese. No snow in vietnam:P
I think maybe that Scandinavians, or some of them, have epi fold maybe because they might have Lapp heritage further back? And the further south you come the lesser the epi fold, africans almost have no epi folds and bigger eyes than europeans.
Maybe a result of migration?
Like for example the lactose tolerance gene (dominant gene) started in northern europe, so the incidence of it declines the further south or east you get. Some northern europeans migrated south and east a little.

Yeah, well everyone is racially mixed somewhere down the line so of course there are always exceptions. Many Vietnamese and Filipinos do have slanted eyes and thicker cheeks sometimes simply because they sorta descended from the Chinese or are related (sorry, I'm not quite up to par on their history). Plus, so many Vietnamese and Thai are recently mixed with Chinese and other groups, whether they know it or not.

Yes I think so too. I mistake many vietnamese for chinese actually....If not, I mistake them for Hong Kong chinese:P Its a shame for me, being half viet and all!
But I think Thai and Fillipino people look different from the Viets, and have never mistaken them for being Viet or vice versa. I mean, thai women might look like the viet women I see on photos, but not the viet women I know! Its strange though.... That viets I know look alot different than the viets in vietnam on photos etc.

Yeah, but Vietnamese are very diverse people. They are surrounded by the Chinese, the Laotians, the Cambodians. That makes for very different looking people. I've seen very dark-skinned Vietnamese that almost look East Indian or Hispanic to me and I've seen very pale, slanted eyed Vietnamese that look Chinese or Korean. Same with Filipinos. Those nations have SO many different ethnic groups within those countries that the people are so mixed. Pretty cool to see the differences.

My dad watches a Viet TV channel, and there were some people in Viet movies there that looked rather pale and EA looking!

There is something a friend once told me about Filipinos, which I never even realized before until I started observing this with Filipinos I meet... Generally, I see that those who come from the north, like Luzon, have bigger and rounder eyes, while those from the middle and maybe the south tend to have more slanted/monolid eyes... I wouldn't believe this at first when my friend told me, but from keeping this in mind when meeting Filipinos, I saw that this actually was the general tendencies. I don't really know why it's like this, it could be that there were more Chinese settlers in these areas hundreds of years ago, and more mixing there.

yup, there is much diversity in looks over there. the last time I was there, I mentally grouped the looks of people into three main looks: "native-looking", "chinese-looking" and "south american-looking". of course, also many seemed to look something in between the two or three of these :)

I meet a lot of Filipinos who say they have some Chinese heritage. I wonder if the Chinese have settled and mixed with them for a long time or if it a fairly recent thing?

I wonder what Filipinos with no Chinese ancestry look like. Makes me curious since I know a lot of SE Asian countries have had intermixing with the Chinese for a long time.
