How many of you have noticed that you look more caucasian from 3/4 profile/side profile and more asian from the front? Thought that is pretty interesting but I don't really know why that is. Lol. Kind of hard not to stare at myself when a mirror that takes up 80% of the wall is right in front of my desk and I cannot move it. Nonetheless...it's kinda neat-o!

Yes, I think this is common because the nose / brow profile is more evident at the 45 deg angle.
Straight on I look about 70% like my paternal grandfather, but at an angle, I suddenly look 50-60% like my mother. but at a 90% angle (side profile), I don't look exactly like either.

I noticed too, I believe that's because Eurasian probably have even more asymmetrical features.

Front view people say I look "Hispanic" or whatever unless I narrow my eyes... quarter view people say I look Russian or some sort of "Mixed person" they can't wrap their finger around... side view people say I look fully Asian. Meh

I think I look more asian from side or back, and I look very much like my euro mum from the front! Or so they say....

^ Judging by your pic, I can't see your asian side at 3/4 view

I noticed too, I believe that's because Eurasian probably have even more asymmetrical features. Lol I tried covering one half of my face and one half looks more asian than the other. Guess you're right! ;o But it is interesting to hear that some of you are the opposite.

Was just talking to my hubby about how funny it would be if eurasians had literally half a 'euro' face and half an asian face! Eurasians probably wouldn't be known as so good looking then Topic came up coz my 2 month old son sometimes does this bung eye thing where one eye is fully slanted and the other will be open. Very cute more on topic though, i notice what you say is true when I look at my son coz he looks like me from front on (but more asian) with his asian eyes and nose, but like his father from the side

My face is totally not symmetrical. I know everyone's isn't perfectly symmetrical, but mine is more noticeable. My eye sometimes looks seriously weird too. Sometimes one would look bigger than the other. But your baby is so cute with that funny face! We will see more clearly of how he looks when he grows up (more asian or white)..but he is already a cutie! =)

Bah, EA's parents tend to have very distinct features since they generally do not belong to the same race. Face outcome is like a cake it's not always perfectly blended. My younger sister's optometrist one day told her that mixed-race individuals tend to have a higher rate of asymmetrical features like a double eye lid for one eye and a single eyelid for the other in her case !

Havent noticed this more in EAs than in whites for example. I have (as I said) a lazy eye, but I have double eyelids on both eyes!
Maybe these EAs youre talking about also have ptosis? The lazy eye eyelid is more prominent if I look up for example, because its too weaker and doesnt cover up the eyelid as the other eyelid muscle can do.
