Do Eurasians represent a significant part of your friends circle? How did you meet them besides meetups?
I have 5 which sadly is a drop in my ocean of friends, to make things worse my EA-dar sucks and among those only one is a male who I met in a Mandarin class back at McGill, the rest I met in random circumstances. We are not very close as he is the type of guy who costumes himself as manga characters, my pimptonite basically, some differences are unbridgeable no matter the goodwill. A lot of people here seem cooler than any EA I met in real life!
Do you feel closer to them?

It is not easy for me to relate to Eurasians -- they all have very different experiences.

Despite refusing to admit it because idealizing is always more appealing, as time passes by it's becoming obvious thinking Eurasians as an homogeneous group is a mistake. There are too many divides, ethnic mix, Western/Asian-based, aware or not, local cultures... Looking at it objectively, I have more in common with a lot of monoracials than I have with people here thus why I don't think I'll ever make particular efforts to meet EAs simply because we belong to the same group if I did I would discard the essential in a relationship which is ultimately not race but compatible lifestyles and personalities.
