Yesterday I had the privilege of watching one of the greatest sporting exhibitions I've seen in my life. The third drawn grand final in Australian Football history (the others being in 1977 and in 1948). The country is still in shock at the immense war that went on between St Kilda and Collingwood yesterday. Simply one of the greatest sporting matches ever witnessed in our country. There were many legendary moments in the match that are not captured in the following clip, but here is the final 5 minutes anyway, played in front of over 100,000 people at the MCG:
When the siren sounds, you can see that each and every single player on the field has exhausted every last bit of physical and mental strength that their bodies hold.
Pure determination, desperation, and disregard for their own safety by the players.
Unbelievable.
