Let the excitement begin!!! The 6th instance of the Women's World Cup starts this Sunday 26th June at Olympic Stadium, Berlin. First match is between host nation Germany (ranking #2nd in the world) vs. Canada at #6. Looking forward to see the performance and grace of Birgit Prinz, football legend and highest capped player in the tournament. Will be watching it online and on SBS. First tournament on SBS at 1:30am EST on 27th June (for those of us in Australia, the broadcasting TV station for the game), staying up all night up til early Monday morning at 4:15am. Probably gonna crash the rest of Monday... Personally, I am all for Germany (2-time world champions), but as an Australian myself, my hopes are that the Matildas will go far, hopefully at least get to the quarter finals. If they can reach the semi's, even better. Also looking forward to watching the brilliant USA team and the current call-ups, not to mention Brazil and captain Marta to see how they fare this time around. So what are your guesses! ?

I put my pants on just like the rest of you -- one leg at a time. Except, once my pants are on, I make gold posts.
