Annual Global Hapa Meetup- did you know?

Hi all!

I originally posted this in the Globetrotter section, but it seems you have to sign in to go there...

So anyway, you may or may not know that every year on a certain day, Hapas or part Asians all around the world meet up and hang out in their respective cities. There's generally one in every major city, but you can suggest cities as well. Many cities already had theirs in July this year, BUT there are definitely some that are upcoming! I personally know of these two:

Boston: September 3rd at Harvard Square

Wish I weren't too paranoid to get a Facebook, but whatevs. Sounds like an interesting event and I'm glad to know it exists. There's gotta be one in the DC-Metro area.

We rounded up our EAN crew to join the HK festivities ..... on facebook there were 45 RSVPs and in typical internet fashion, only 5 people showed up (excluding us.... who didn't RSVP)..... but a good time was had by all.
