All other things aside, I read the article and saw that the suspect was eurasian (Chinese-Malaysian/ British-American Anglo). I have a personal, not-so-serious-but-yeah-really-kinda theory that all half asian half anglo people are slightly cracked in the head -- to varying degrees. My other thought was that at least some of the feelings of alienation and isolation he was feeling were due to his ethnicity; it was mentioned in his "manifesto". And it made me wonder further if a place like EurasianNation would've helped him, at least in that regard.

While I sympathized with some of the situations that he had gone through because some of them echoed my own young adulthood, I couldn't help but think that he had some seriously vain, shallow, retarded-ass views. And of course, his justification for his final actions are completely f***tarded.

I think he <b>Definitely</b> had EA issues.

He stabbed, STABBED, 3 young men to death, all of Chinese descent / origin.

He went on shooting spree at a sorority full of white women, esp. blonde white women.

He envied and worshipped white men; he hated everyone else - even his English-Moroccan brother. He didn't seem to hate his sister so much.

I think his parents needed to have the "race talk" with him, but as monoracially identified parents of EAs often are, they were clueless about what was going on in his head.

Yeah, I thought he could have used a more mature Eurasian male go through those issues with him. Of course, even if some of us go through some similar issues, we didn't resort to violence and suicide to resolve them.

From what I can tell, his father was fairly absent and his mother coddled him. Playing arm-chair psychologist and with:

'Screenwriter Dale Launer, who was a friend of the Rodger family, stated that he had counseled Rodger on approaching and befriending women, but that Rodger did not follow the advice. seemed like a recipe for disaster for this young man.

I wish there was a simple answer for how to handle a child such as this so that they grow up without needing to act in this manner. It's hard -- you look at your child and want to believe all the best things about them, but sometimes you have to make the realization that there might be something wrong and handle it accordingly.
