I'm so sorry to hear that Celtriya, may her soul rest in peace.
I have to question why teens these days are so much more prone to committing suicide? Has our society really gone to hell?

It is fine, thanks for your wishes. I call my parents to tell them she died today. My friend is in better shape than earlier although they were very close as sisters. I admire her strength.

Long time no visit... I've been praying a lot lately. I'm definitely hoping to hear more from people as life isn't a smooth ride, but rather, a rollercoaster ride. If you have anything that you'd like to share with us at all, don't hesitate, and you can keep it brief if you want privacy. My friends' prayers helped me through a lot and I'd like to do the same for others :-)

i'll actually take you up on that,Aiko.there's some stuff going on i really don't want to get into publicly (well,ne issue is my car is kaput which is putting stress on a lot of other areas of my life, like being able to get to work and pick up my stepson for visitation),but i could use some prayers that everything resolves itself for the best, and sooner rather than later.thank you.

A woman named Shemina was killed last week, just 5 days before the golden jubilee. Her husband says the house was broken into and he saw her murdered but there were no marks on him and he tried to flee the country. She was a principal, an educated woman and well known for her masters thesis that involved making the ismaili community more inclusive to sikhs. Ironically her husband was punjabi.. It was horrible to hear this, and close to the golden jubilee. She only married four days before she was killed and still had her henna on her. She did so much for the community. If anyone prays, please pray for her.

I feel a bit hypocritical to ask for your thoughts and prayers since I'm not religious, but my best friend's father has been battling cancer for a few years and is nearing the end of that battle. I would appreciate it if you could send positive vibes to her and her family and have them in your thoughs and prayers. They are like my second family. Thanks. prayer is there for anyone to ask for at any time you don't have to sort of qualify for it
