Hip Hop or 'Rap Music' as it is also known has a reputation for all manner of anti-social leanings. Maybe its time to ban it?

I think banning should be banned.

When you're blaming the glamorization aren't you also blaming the music that glamorizes?

Theres Real Hip Hop which is based on Peace, Unity, Love and having Fun. MC'ing, DJing, Grafitti and Breakdance.
Then theres Hip Pop a raped and molested version of real Hip Hop taken out of context and made by people in suits at Universal Studio who knows absolutely NOTHING about Hip Hop. The mass produced bullsh*t that started end of the 90's using violence, gangsters and whatnot as a marketing scheme.
Instead of MC's you have Rappers, instead of breakdance you have lapdance and instead of women you have bitches and hoes because it sells!
Should rather blame BET, MTV, the degenerate looking Rappers on TV... not Hip Hop.
