I got this batch of pirated dvd's last week, and I watched snakes on a plane.
lol, its so bad. Although the only good parts is where the snakes bite people, and how those parts start to inflate with puss and poison. One guy's in the toilet and a snake bites his johnson and holds on. others have eye balls, breasts, old people, children, entire people get swallowed. & a dog gets thrown at a anaconda as a diversion.
I give it 3.7/10

I just saw Flushed Away and it was damn good. I loved the animation and there were a lot of great vocal performances. I didn't even realize who was doing the voices before I saw it. Lots of great gags and physical comedy. The story itself is nothing new, but it's told well. I'd definitely say it's worth watching, especially if you're a fan of Aardman's previous work (Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run).

The PRESTIGE!
A good movie - twists and turns - totally unexpected! Good characters. Intrigue, laughs, death...and magic with an English accent...
A must see!

AHHHHH!! I just got back from the cinemas! I watched: Saw IIICertianly, not for the weak stomached But I liked it (was MUCH more gorier than the previous two) Athough, ending was a bit annoying..and there could be a saw 4, or there might not be.. Overall...i'd give it 7.5 - 8 outta 10.

I saw "the paard van Sinterklaas" aka "Winky's Horse" ..it's a child movie I just copy a post for the sypnosis from someone Anyone who knows, or would like to know about the dutch tradition of Sinterklaas, should simply see this movie. Seeing it in a cinema filled with children makes it even more fun. Meet Winkie Wong, originally from China gets confronted with the upcoming event of Sinterklaas coming to town. Tradition allows children, if they have been good throughout the year, to ask Sinterklaas whatever they would like to get. This makes Winkie hope and think beyond her expectations. Right from the beginning it becomes obvious Winkie would not settle for less then asking for a horse. And because of the 'weirdness' of this dutch tradition, it makes this movie so cute and a must see for anyone, with or without kids. now my personal verdict ....I enjoy this movie a lot.... very fun to watch ...it's funny yet it's sad ...it's a 9/10

Just got back from the premiere of A Good Year with Russel Crowe....
and I have to say....
crowe spoiled the movie!! he's a merde actor! at times, his acting makes you feel so embarassed for him!! Not to mention that he himself is not disimilar from the arrogant pickle he portrays in the first half of the movie.
Otherwise, film is very feel-goody... lil cliche...i'd give it a 6.5-7 outta 10

I saw Borat last weekend.
Borat breaks all the rules of British comedy and modern pc society in general. He gets away with some outrageous stuff and its basically a very clever idea. But the only actually funny bits are the slap-stick bits (eg when he's roling around naked with his fat manager). When the guy is performing his cultural faux-pas, its not rib-cage bursting stuff. Its not really humour; its a study of cultural displacement. I walked out of the cinema with a straight face.
It was a big mistake to watch it at the cinema. The pace was packed to the rafters with people howling with laughter at the slightest utterance and goofy gesture. It was as though people were laughing because they thought they were supposed to. Sacha Baron Cohen (creator of Borat and Ali G), will be having the biggest laugh. He's got us all properly stitched up.
He's not the comic genius of our time, but a deft cultural observer perhaps.
Anyway...9 out of 10 for Borat

V for Vendetta. 9/10. People can only absorb political messages through fables, so it seems, and this was a good one.

Russell Crowe was immense in Gladiator. He's been rubbish in everything else he's done. He should be a one-hit wonder.
V-Vendetta was a good flick.
Anyone seen Children of Men? What a depressing and pointless film.
