Crows zero: 7/10
An entertaining experience if you don't mind revisiting your high school years under a orgasmically insane light. You reap what you sow, mofo!

Precious: 8.5/10 Depressing and equally rewarding. Reminds me of Philly and NYC. My dogs wish I had never seen the film -- I hurl Mama Precious insults at them when they least expect it. My one gripe is the decision to cast Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz. edit: crap, I can't get it to embed the youtube preview. I is dumb. Lynch's Mulholland Drive: 8.5/10
A surreal albeit intoxicating ode to Hollywood...

Iron Man 2: 7/10 Pretty much as expected, not quite as good as the first but Robert Downey is still solid and it still has some of the trademark humor of the series.
I also saw the full5 hour version of Red Cliff, I give it 8.5/10 because I love martial arts and epic combat movies and this movie delivered both of those in spades. I kind of felt bad for Cao Cao in the end, not sure if I supposed to. Also, having played Dynasty Warriors so much, I was wondering when Lu Bu was going to come in to kick some @ss, but I take it he wasn't involved in that battle.

Ong Bak 2: Tony Jaa, you crazy. Crazy like elephant. 8.5/10, some of the best martial arts stunts I've ever seen, but -1.5 for lack of plot plus you're just way less handsome than Bruce Lee, sorry.
Slumdog Millionaire: 9/10, a bit predictable but powerful nonetheless, love how colorful India is and need to get back there.
Alien vs. Predator 2/Requiem: 5/10, not as bad as most critics say, actually has some quality camp though perhaps not in the same league as the upcomg Sharktopus movie.
District B13: 7.5/10, very solid action movie with some great Parkour stunts and good pacing.

I saw bits and pieces of Ong Bak 2 and while I could kind of appreciate it, I think it was just too Asian for most people. Too much like watching one of those traditional Thai TV shows with Yak (cyclops or something), magic, armor and stuff. Hopefully I'm thinking of the right movie.
Last movie I saw in Theaters was Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (the previous one was Hitch). Spider Man was in it, so that's a big plus, but he didn't use his web blaster so the most I can give it is a flat C (7.0/10).

Inception: 8.5/10 The main thing I did not like about this movie is the amount of questions I had that weren't answered, but maybe I just missed the answers to them. Overall there were a lot of great things about the movie and it was a pleasure to the eyes to watch.

Overall there were a lot of great things about the movie and it was a pleasure to the eyes to watch. My sister kept bugging me 24/7 (and I mean 24/7) to watch Inception. I still haven't lol. That is because I like to see her all fired up when I don't listen to her. Then again- I don't do anything when people keep bugging me to do it..but after they die down and notice that it is no use, I do it.

A lot of people are over-hyping Inception. I think it's a nice premise and visually very interesting, but I didn't like it as much as the first Matrix (which shares a lot of themes and some visual style) or Nolan's other movies like The Dark Night or Memento (which also shares some similar themes). I'd recommend it but, like Avatar, it's not a movie you have to see before you die and is maybe getting a bit over-hyped. But I'm always happy to see Ellen Page in a movie, she went to my school after all and is always going on about Halifax in her interviews. Also, it appears the plot was stolen from Scrooge McDuck

Also, it appears the plot was stolen from Scrooge McDuck I'd say that there was more borrowing from the Satoshi Kun's Parprika and Yasutaka Tsutsui's novel by the same name. Of course, most American moviegoers know nothing about Japanese anime or manga writing or their novels. So when people say it's brilliant or original, I like to look at them and think they ought to look around more at the rest world before making such proclamations. It's like seeing a fish being caught in large marketing net admiring how unique the experience is... Though, I did see first see Parika in an art house cinema up North. Anywho, I recently watched Almodovar's Broken Embraces. It became my least favorite of his films. The story just wasn't there for me. I expected a brilliant twist that never happended. Is Pedro going mainstream?

Man on Wire 9/10. Not the greatest movie (or even documentary) I've ever seen, despite receiving 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, but damned fascinating, and more poignant now that the Twin Towers are no longer there and no idiot will ever tight-rope walk over them again. Also saw Capturing the Friedmans and would rate it similarly. I'm still not sure if they're innocent or not.

The Expendables... 6/10 and only 'cause I was laughing almost during the whole movie... we should pay them to come to Mexico, they alone can solve all our problems in a week! XD
