Damn, he sure looks it. Zhang is hott, but her character is a turnoff. From what I heard, in real life she's really snotty and thinks she boss everywhere she goes.

Some parts of Borat are so disturbingly evocative that I had to hold my breath in one 'bit rude' scene lest I smelt it!!

Watched Last life in the universe a few months back, liked it but I didn't really think about it again. Just watched it again tonight, and wow I have to say, this time it's so much better The description of the film from what I've read, all described it as black comedy. I didn't think it was black comedy though. It was a sad film that just made me feel like crying. I guess I don't have the twisted humor in me, and can't take irony too well. The whole movie was shot beautifully about a young girl who lost her sister in front of her eyes, and shared this tragic event with a stranger. This stranger happened to be an ex-yakuza member who fled to Thailand with a suicidal tendency. The two met because of the girl's sister's tragedy and grew fond of each other.... 9/10 I like it. yeah I saw that one too...hmmmm though it was in the beginning of the year..but I remember it was very funny...in a way... I saw Nacho Libre today l...the scenery was great ...and humor was great ....I give it a 8/10

yesterday I saw Stray cat Rocks: sex hunters (don't let the title fool ya ...it's not porn) hmmm I copied a sypnosis again cuz this fim was very interesting..for EA's Stray Cat Rock: Sex Hunter's storyline concerns the rivalry between the all-female gang the Alleycats, led by the sultry Mako (Kaji), and the brazen young men who form the Eagles, headed by the ultra-cool Baron (Fuji). When Alleycat Mari turns down the advances of Eagle Susumu in favour of her half-black boyfriend Ichiro, Baron's memories of his sister's rape by a group of halfbreeds spurs on the Eagles to rid the town of its mixed-race population. When a young stranger named Kazuma (Yasuoka) wanders by in search of his estranged sister, Mako takes a fancy to him, none to the liking of Baron, who goes in hot pursuit as soon as he realises the stranger is also a halfbreed. Sex Hunter makes a particular point of race relations and questions of nationality, refusing to draw a clear line to indicate which ethnicity is 'good' and which is 'bad'. The film suggests that mixing the colours might well be a way to building a slightly better world, condemning the domination of one group over another (and by extension of one culture over another, as the pernicious presence of American cultural ephemera attests). Pivotal in this regard are the frequent appearances of the all-girl pop group Golden Half, who during seventies scored hit after hit and whose five members were all offspring of Japanese mothers and foreign fathers, their mixed heritage being their main sales point. ...movie was great ..enjoyed it very much....i hope you don't mind ...it's a classic again...anyway a 9/10

Nacho Libre: SUCKED beyond belief
Borat: I couldn't stop laughing. I sit on the subway laughing just thinking about it. People stare. They just don't understand.

That movie was pretty retarded...but funny at the same time! I loved the part where he kept cutting parts of hte guys' foot off, then they'd show blood pooring out of it. I also thought it was hilarious when they just rewinded the movie and everyone was coming back to life, hahaha. But 3 breasts and a few other things were kinda too clicche. But those above make me give the movie a 7ish (i'm picky with ratings)

There were sounds of flies swarming over his dead body. Watch again, I command you. oMgz lOLz!!! ;D Yeah I agree with you. I hated the 3 breasts part and the cow part. So cliche and not nearly as funny as the rest of the movie.

That guy didn't come back? Didn't he girl though?
I just remember people coming back to life through the rewind, and I couldn't stop laughing at that s***.
I need to buy that movie to watch it again...and it's not like I'm going to download it illegally right now (WINK WINK)

Nacho Libre: SUCKED beyond belief Really? I've heard a few people say the same thing... It looked funny in the adverts though...Plus, I've always liked Jack Black. I thought he and Jason Alexander were hilarious in 'Shallow Hal'. I think I'll still watch 'Nacho Libre' out of pure curiosity, hehe

Nacho Libre: SUCKED beyond belief Speaking of that, there was this black man in amsterdam who was happily rolling home this massive wheel of gouda (cheese) from the market. As he approached a hill, he tripped and fell, leaving the gouda to roll down the hill on its own momentum. The man chased it in mad pursuit, warding off the lustful eyes that coveted that fine gouda. "That's NACHO CHEESE MAN" "That's NACHO CHEESE"

Really? I've heard a few people say the same thing... It looked funny in the adverts though... yeah. it looked hilarious in the commercials i saw which is why i went out to get it to see it. but it was a huge disappointment. and thinking back, even the clips they showed on commercials weren't even that funny in the movie.
