Richmond aren't in the finals. In fact, they finished bottom of the ladder. The Kangaroos, in addition to four other teams are still alive in the finals: Port Adelaide, Geelong and Collingwood. However, if you are a Richmond fan, then respect is earned for supporting the team through the tough times.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cz8ezw0P9kFrom the perspective of a neutral fan, that is, as a fan watching a match where my team was not involved, this has to be the most exciting couple minutes of AFL that I have seen this decade. Sydney vs Geelong, 2005 semi-final. The winner makes it to the final 4, in one of the two preliminary final, the loser's season comes to an end. The commentators were excited, to say the least. The atmosphere was crazy too. Any thoughts?

Only thing I know about it is that it's more brutal than American football and the players wear less protective gears.
