Anybody watching the documentary 'The War'?
It's just as well done as his 'Civil War' documentary. Got 18 million viewers when it premiered.

Yeah, I've been watching, very sobering stuff. I didn't catch the Civil War doc, but this one is done very well.

Ashokan farewell.

I haven't missed an episode.
Very, very well done. I enjoyed Burns' baseball doc. Civil War was amazing too.
I've been slogging thru The World at War, 10 DVD's worth, right before this came on. Also highly recommended. Old, from like 1974 or so, but also well done as far as WWII docs go.

Daniel Inouye from the 442nd Regiment was apparently my family's doctor back in the 70's. I was born in '83 and never really went to the doctor, but respect to him for coming back and becoming a doctor. I wonder if he's still practicing.
edit: I missed the episode on Sunday because I was helping my friend with left over storm damage, I think I missed the episode before that as well. Anyone know if they'll be replaying the documentary any time soon?

You PBS station should be looping it frequently, as mine has been.
You can order the complete dvd set at almost any pbs website.
