I have visited quite a few hi-tech companies headquarters but damn it, Microsoft is really something. I nearly spent an hour just walking around its European HQ entrance hall, so sleek, classy, I'd be willing to work as a receptionist or as security guard to work in such an amazing environment. The only other building that can rival so much grace is Sony Japan's.

I put my pants on just like the rest of you -- one leg at a time. Except, once my pants are on, I make gold posts.

I just ate a long, thin banana and it felt really, really uncomfortable for some reason. Then I thought really hard and analyzed my bias. Why do I prefer big bananas in my mouth? ... I'm seeing my therapist tomorrow.

if not to prevent heart attacks, why else would a doctor prescribe a patient --say mid 20's-- a daily dose of aspirin??? anyone knows?

hey ahliang...
just was randomly browsing to see how this place was doing!
someone in their 20s would be low risk for heart problems/stroke and would do more harm than good so unlikely for that unless they have some sort of medical history/family history.
for pain relief/anti-inflammatory reasons (in higher doses) would be more likely.

I've never filled out so many race boxes in my life as I have for job applications this fall. I refuse to fill them out if I can't check white and Asian. My favorite of all though are the British ones - they take their affirmative action seriously. "Two-spirited" is an option for sexuality and they want to know what "kind" of "white" you are, as if Irish and Scottish were different "kinds" of white. I'm surprised Jedi wasn't listed as a religion.

I'm surprised Jedi wasn't listed as a religion. I applied to a British company once and noticed one the part asking UK residents what race they were, there was no option for "Asian"..but there was "Chinese" listed next to African, European, Middle Eastern. So they really can't tell the difference between us after all, eh? Jeez, not even an "Oriental" or "Yellow" option. Not even "Slant-eyed devil." We're all just "Chinese."

I've been really busy seeking gainful employment. Random internet forums are unfortunately a lower priority for my sporadic internet hours than checking e-mail, sport scores, news headlines and porn. On the plus side, it's kind of exciting to be at the beginning of a new phase, though I don't think getting a real paycheck will make me feel any more grown-up.

Has anybody every gotten a facial before? I'm thinking of getting one to clear up my skin, but if it doesn't work I'm not gonna waste my money like that.
This is ridiculous. I'm 22 years old and I still have acne and oily ass skin just as bad as I did at 16. I'm too old for this sh*t.
