So I already know that Hapakristina and Kyuu-Ree say they could pass for full Asians.....I could too. Who else here admits to this "affliction??"  And how do you feel about it?? |

Damn Animaeish... that's a tough one. >I< personally think I look like a caucasian EA... but I do get "arab" and "hispanic" alot.. depending on whether or not I have my hair spiked or if I'm wearing a hat I can look like alot of ethnicities.
I picked Caucasian EA.. 'cuz that's the one I most feel.

And how do you feel about it??  but honestly.. anyone that thinks i'm full asian is kind of an idiot. haha! i mean.. i think my hair texture and my size should be indication enough that i'm not full asian. .. then again, i did play ball against the chinese JR national bball team in HS. they had like 5 girls that were 6'2"-6'5".  anyhow.. i think that i carry non-asian features but considering most non-asians and some asians can't always tell.. i've always said that i wished i looked a bit more mixed (or in my case, more caucasian). |

alex, i don't think you look full asian at all. i think you can see the asian in ya.. maybe when you were younger, you did.. but i dunno, i think you've definitely got that attractive EA look. |

Well, thanx for the high praise. But as I said in the thread "hapas that don't look hapas" we are good at spotting each other. In fact, I was hanging out with a friend the other day who is half Black/White who said mixed people in general can spot each other because we are conscious of the idea that people CAN be mixed!! We had correctly guessed each other's mix when we met. She says she usually gets "Puerto Rican."
BTW Kris...I kind of explain why I don't like being mistaken for full Asian in the thread (page 5). I'm sure U could relate. Syn just wants to look more Asian because he lives in Shanghai!!!

I've grown up in Asia... i'm more comfortable around Azn people... even though I've always felt like a foreigner. Plus, when I went back to the states, I'd never felt so Azn in my entire life... but I didn't look Azn (If it wasn't white, I always got hispanic, sometimes even Jewish  No one ever got it right ). I think if I looked more mixed or more Azn it would have helped alot of the Identity crisis issues I had between 16 and 22. |

i'm more comfortable around Azn people... even though I've always felt like a foreigner. I have often been accused of acting "White" and liking White things....but ironically, I too like surrounding myself w/ Asian Americans. I almost exclusively date them.... except for a random mixed girl here and there. I probably would've ended up w/ more white girls if I had rounder eyes I think.  Hey.....I just realized....come to think of it....maybe liking Asian girls IS another "White" thing!! ;D I mean...that's how many of us came to be, right?? And Kris....I am still taller than U. I had to take a physical on Monday and the nurse said I was 6'1".... I always thought I was 6'0". |

Yeah when I was in highschool I got accused of acting white by many of the Azn Americans at my highschool. It used to kinda piss me off because the things that people said made me "white" were things that had nothing to do with being white at all (ie: Skateboarding, Playing guitar, talking "white"... pff).
