one of my friends/classmates showed me that she just started subscribing to this paper, which she originally found out through me(i'm also a regular subscriber to it). in the midst of discussing certain topics in class(which that paper has plenty of relevent stories/articles), i'd pulled it out for reference, and she'd taken interest in some of the readings in there and asked me how i'd got that paper. seeing that i had such an influence on someone(albeit a small one) made me smile.

^ yeah i love the feeling of knowing i had an impact on someone else, (for the better of course). it sort of feels like the feeling after helping out for a good cause.
today what made me smile, or more so laugh was a friends comment to another friend.
'your sister's mum has the same voice as your mum' ;D
what she meant to say was 'your mum's sister has the same voice as your sister.'

Viewing pics of the beautiful filipino singer, and knowing beer goggles were not a factor in his hotness.

Ooooh the necromancy. I'm reviving this thread because I was forced to smile today. Students' letters can always be counted on: Mr. Nikki. He's found me out. This touched my cold, black, stone heart and there was a glimmer of a beat. Becki. Nikki. It's all the same. Love of a 16 year old boy. If only I was a bit younger. One student thought I was cool enough to wear these: (I'm not.)

^Those are some cool earrings Along similar lines of students, I know the exact feeling. One of my students would regularly bring me snacks. One time a friend of hers(not one of my students) dropped by, in which my student tells me "She's not here for tutoring, but I'd told her about you, and she just wanted to meet you." She was a sweet well-behaved student who tried hard, did her work, so in exchange for that and the treats she was bringing me, I would occasionally bring in little treats and trinkets/educational games for her as well as some of my other students as rewards for their work. Some might call it bribing, but I call it giving them incentive

I saw a dead deer at the side of the road when driving to school yesterday morning. That was really strange...I live in a big city, so how the hell could there be a deer in the city? I am not joking but obviously i didn't have any photo because i was driving on the highway.
