^The field of play, as night arrived. ^Crowd cheering the players as they come to greet us, after the match had finished. ^A few of the players showing their appreciation to the crowd, as they came right in front of me. It was hard to keep the camera still! ^Again, players giving thanks to the support. The player with #1 on his guernsey, at the left of the pic, is the captain Warren Tredrea. One of the greatest players of the past decade. He's hard to make out, but he is in the background, and his body appears placed right next to the cap of the boy on the left. ^One last view of the stadium, before the players left for the rooms, and before we left the ground. Bring on the grand final!

Halloween. Yeah.. I'm a nerd who gets excited about it months in advance. I'm not big on candy, but dressing up with girls and friends and getting drunk appeals to me somehow.

^^ I was a bombers supporter since '92 since I first met Paul Salmon, but lost track of them when I came back to Sydney (which hardly showed any AFL games in the 90s.) Haven't really followed any team recently, still enjoy the bombers, but too many new faces who I have no clue on who they are. Haven't been to any swans games though. I wish your team the best of luck though! Do you think they have a decent chance to beat the Roos tonight? I have always followed Rugby Union at an international level though no matter which state I was in as my dad followed it as well (being a welshman!) I just dont like Rugby league as much though, doesn't feel like it flows as well as union. I try and head to the international games if I can. I have been looking forward to working nightshifts at work so I can watch any of the games that are on! ^Yeah, I can imagine it would be hard to keep up to date with Essendon and the AFL whilst living in Sydney, as it is an NRL-dominated state. It's like me an international rugby. The world cup is on, and I would love to follow it, but I don't even know all of the rules of the game, despite always having the intent to learn them. A major reason for this is that my state is by far an AFL-dominated state. I just can't feel passionate about a sport if I jump on as a bandwagon fan. I'd prefer to follow what's going on, by being able to understand the full context of things. Hence, it's disappointing that I can't truly follow the rugby world cup, as it's a sport that looks great to watch, from an 'outside' perspective. NRL doesn't really interest me as much though, like you mentioned. Also, in a way, I can relate to you looking forward to working night shifts in order to watch more games. I'm a uni student, but I imagine that when I am working full-time, if I'm able to choose when I can have my time off during the year, it would have to be during a major sporting event. I've never missed the soccer world cup! And as my above posts indicate, Port won against the Kangaroos and are into the grand final. They came into the game as favourites, and performed as we hoped they would have. However, in next week's grand final against Geelong, we will be massive underdogs, as Geelong have easily been the best team all year. I have faith though!

Oi LaFace, Don't mean to rain on your parade but Geelong are going to win this weekend. [And most of the experts agree with me]

^I understand Geelong are the outright favourites to win the grand final, and deservedly so, as they've generally been the best team this year. However, Port deserve to be in the grand final as well, and I do have faith that if my team can play at its absolute best, then they can win! Jak, to make things interesting, I suggest we have a bet. Not one with money, but one with having to do something online on EAN. Are there any suggestions?

Jak, to make things interesting, I suggest we have a bet. Not one with money, but one with having to do something online on EAN. Any suggestions? Interesting.... I'm gonna say no to nude pics. But now that its been suggested i can't think of anything to do on EAN thats punishing but not rude. I'll think about it. In the meantime, what are your suggestions?

I'm looking forward to seeing a friend I haven't seen in three years, spending the weekend together, and then going to this zombie convention thing all dressed up

Since my suggestion has been deemed a little too risque, Jak & LaFace, then how about the loser shaves their head and posts pics?

^I don't think that's a fair bet, especially for a female to take part in.
I'd do a topless pic, but then again, that bet is also more unfair on a female.
Any other suggestions?
Quick! As I post this it's around 6:45 pm on Friday, and the grand final match starts tomorrow at about 2:00pm.
