awww, thanks xandra, nikki n juniper For some reason, I really like how these things lace up in the back. Definitely not the most practical design (what heels are?), but... I like. I saw the most ridiculous thing on TV when I was at the gym the other day: It was one of those morning shows and the hosts were doing a bit on this new 'exercise' (and I use that word lightly) trend that is becoming all the rage. This woman is teaching an exercise class for women in stilettos. So basically, she jaunts 10 steps and jaunts back and her flock of women have to follow. Bizarre. I can't believe she's making money off of that. I saw a guy wearing these crazy stilettos at a coffee shop today - I have a feeling this exercise trend may catch on with the guys here in the village. i love those shoes but they are indeed killer in everyway. the exercise thing is crazy! why on earth would people want to do that, their feet will get all mangled. besides, think of all the shoes they'd ruin, geez.

I read something similar, how the actresses on Sex and the City would tie ankle weights and walk around in heels all day and so when it came to filming, they could run and do everything with ease in their heels.

bought these about 2 months ago. i didn't like the pink/black checkered coloured shoes they had for the girls so i decided to buy the boys' version of the shoe. I have it in black/white and brown/white checkers. side note - these shoes are not meant to be worn during winter. does not keep toes warm and at all costs, avoid wet puddles! ;D

I had a pair of Nike sneakers that I couldn't bear to throw away, but the pressure from my friends finally got to me.

I have 3 pairs of casual sporty looking shoes, 2 pairs of trainers, and 3 pairs of formal leather shoes. Whoever proposed the idea of wearing heels to exercise the legs should have a look at MBT Shoes. Apparently they increase muscle activity in the back, abdomen, thighs, calves, and glutes, as well as promote better posture. They look like this: I think they're just an excuse for people to add 3 inches to their height. Or they're a way for lazy people to cop out of doing real exercise. Then again, I've never tried these shoes before as I think it would look ridiculous to walk around with a pair of hovercrafts on your feet.

I don’t want to be mean but your friend is right, and you need new shoes.I will send it through the UPS if you want.Thats really That's ok. I'll get new shoes by the next school year. Until then I'll settle for new shoe laces and a patch oh and some glue to re-attach the soles. Er... the front part is yellow because I play in the dirt, walk through the mud, everyday stuff... and those little ridges and crevices are hard to clean. Lol, well if you put it that way... it really wasn't my intention... oh who am I kidding How did you know, Kat? It seems I can’t fool you. lol I'm a moocher. I bet there is "bad habits" thread somewhere ...
