Okay, so while in Japan I thought, 'why not go a little crazy?' and seeing all these 'interesting' hair styles around me, I picked something in a magazine that looks a bit like a mushroom ontop then goes thin at the end - hard to explain but a lot of Asian girls have that haircut. Except my hair is curly and thick so turned out like this: (don't have a camera atm to describe my .. monstrosity) Almost identical but I've managed to tone it down drastically with lots of hair serum/spray/relaxing it etc. Looked good whilst in Asia but a bit too extreme for the likes of London.

I just buzzed off my hair to about 1/4 an inch yesterday. I always keep it fairly short, but it's been so hot this summer, I just had to get rid of it.

I cut a lot off yesterday. Probably about seven inches! Wow! Your head must feel a lot lighter. Is that enough to donate to Locks of Love or does it have to be 9 inches?

My head does feel a lot lighter. I think it looks cuter too. XD
It wasn't really donation worthy unfortunately because it was really damaged from dyeing/bleaching it out too much. It would have to have been about ten inches off as well. I'll have to donate next time when my hair is fully virgin and unprocessed.

mine is as long as it can get. having reached that age where its starting to thin and fallout in clumps, its best not to cut it and hope there's enough for a comb over.

no#2 buzz in summer, just let it grow in winter with a trim every now and again. Long gone are the days of my mum giving me the 'bowl' cut....

I cut a lot off yesterday. Probably about seven inches! I saw your new avatar. Looks Great!!! HEHEHEHEHEH!!! Thank you!!! It's way lighter. I don't have to do much with it, but I can do a lot of crazy looks with it. If I go to sleep with towel-dried hair it flips up in all the right places. No wax required. XD

^Honeyviper, your hair really does look good. I've basically always had the same hairstyle, with slight variations as it grows. I usually get it cut at the start of each month in the same way, as it grows pretty quickly. I was wondering if any of you hairstylists would be able to suggest a new style(s) that I might be able to try? It's hard to think of one, especially when I've always had relatively short hair. I'm actually quite happy with how mine is, but it doesn't hurt to try something new once in a while A link to my pic: eurasiannation.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=membersonly&action=display&thread=1166615414&page=186#1188888053
