^Honeyviper, your hair really does look good. I've basically always had the same hairstyle, with slight variations as it grows. I usually get it cut at the start of each month in the same way, as it grows pretty quickly. I was wondering if any of you hairstylists would be able to suggest a new style(s) that I might be able to try? It's hard to think of one, especially when I've always had relatively short hair. I'm actually quite happy with how mine is, but it doesn't hurt to try something new once in a while A link to my pic: eurasiannation.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=membersonly&action=display&thread=1166615414&page=186#1188888053Thanks! ^.^ I honestly think that texturized faux hawks look pretty cool. Mind you, I'm biased because I really like the way funky texturized hair looks (and I'm not a hair stylist! But I do have stylist friends).

LaFace I think that with your structure you'd really suit a 'rihanna' cut...or a 'pob' whatever you want to call it haha.
I wish I had the cheekbones to pull it off but I have a big round fat face lol

^Isn't the Rihanna haircut, or 'bob' as some call it, a feminine hair style?
I'm just judging by what I've seen on google just then. haha, I can't see myself wearing it, but thanks anyway for a suggestion Tigerlily.
Honeyviper, thanks for suggestion as well. I've actually tried that once or twice in the past, and I think it looks alright. I've just never really had hair that's long enough to do it.

^ That's the thing...the grow out period from short to long can be really annoying. I know most people can't stand it so they just keep cutting. Hmmmm. I always go to Bombhead.com for hair ideas. If you like texture, then check it out.

I find that when I'm growing it out I cut it more often. I hate the in between phase but I hate it more when my hair cut is s***...thus, I don't let it grow out all at once, but in stages. it takes a bit longer but it looks better along the way.

^ That's my suggestion to most people. Upkeep (the shape you eventually want it to be) while it's growing out. That way it's a less stressful process.

I let my hair get way too long, so I pulled it in a pony tail and cut it off with a knife. I'm sure it looks terrible, but I have no sense of hair fashion I'm afraid.

Ok, can't find the girlie thread...bit of a random question but just wondering if anyone out there inherited baby fine, flyaway hair (but of medium thickness so it tangles easily but without looking tangled thankfully)...currently having a big problem with static which I don't quite understand. I don't know what is causing it.....normally I only get it on a plane! Just wondering if anyone has had this problem?!! I feel like I have been attached to a van de Graaff ball whenever it happens...which seems to be a bit too frequently as of late!!!

^ Static is caused by lack of moisture. Do you condition your hair? If so, you might want to supplement your routine by adding a leave-in conditioner, and/or a moisturising hair mask once in a while. Keep a dryer sheet handy and rub it in your hair if in a pinch. Weird thing to do, but it works. Hey, science is science.

Sim - Though I'm not a girl I my hair gets oddly staticy (sp?) too. Speaking of which, I used to have a buzz cut but recently grew my hair out a little to start looking a little more like an adult. Around last week people kind of started to notice at work and I'm getting mixed reviews. So if I could get a little help here, what do you guys think? Grown out, or buzzed? Longer Buzzed

superman: wait for it to grow longer. I really think it willl improve. Opting for the same haircut everytime is boring no matter how it suits you.
