nope, and never plan to. unless if say, it was reconstructive surgery or something like that. but in the context you describe it, no, not my thing.

Nah wouldn't do it... Actually I had my nose broken by a bat in year 10 and as a result my bridge is slightly obstructing my septum, as in my nose is never clear. The doctor said I could get it fixed, or not and I opted not. Much to the objection of my mother

It was my eye. They found my left eyeball in the right socket and the right eyeball in the left, so it had to be corrected.

^^ How & when was that found Celtriya? I wouldn't get it for cosmetic reasons. I just don't think I could look in the mirror and say 'is this really me' afterwards.

I'm scared to, otherwise I would soooo go for it :-) I have gone right through a windscreen of a car when I was about 17, and consequently have a big scar on my face-well its in a smile line so it was ok- but even then I did not go for cosmetic surgery-just hippy herbal stuff and denial..ha
I know someone who had a brand new face done in bangkok-it was so stretched and scary at first but now she looks the same as she did before anyway..and besides it is hard to stop the mouth aging as it kind of turns down when old..you know what I mean?

^^ How & when was that found Celtriya? Early litany not literal, half truth. I mean that plastic surgery is useless when it's not needed. As useless as switching left and right eyeballs. Ironically, I have had plastic surgery when I was a kid. Nothing to do with the balls.

I'll be corny and say our "flaws" are what make us unique and give us character. Likewise for aging gracefully. I won't preach to those that choose to get some work done, it's their own body, they can do as they wish.
Spin-off: How would you feel about your partner wanting to get plastic surgery?

I'll be corny and say our "flaws" are what make us unique and give us character. I guess for some people it's not the character they want. Spin-off: How would you feel about your partner wanting to get plastic surgery? Good question. Depends if I thought it would make them look better or worse.

So it would all boil down to the physical outcome only? I really don't mean to sound judgemental, but do you not think there is an emotional/psychological component that needs to be addressed as well?
