I hope I don't sound like too much a crackpot for asking this, but if you can, please study the skies a little tonight. My brother called out to me tonight asking if I wanted to see a UFO, so I came outside to see something flying steadily and silently eastward, after watching it for about 5 seconds it turned directly away from us and flew slowly out of view. I mean absolutely the same direction in which we were looking. It didn't move horizontally at all from that point on until it was gone. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else sees something up there. edit: actually, we saw a few different strange things, but nothing as close, that's why I thought there might be more up there. I know I probably sound crazy.

You don't sound crazy at all, who knows what's really out there? It's too cloudy to see anything where I am, though.
I'm pretty sure there are places you can call to report/inquire about strange aerial phenomena.

Technically, if she couldn't identify it, it was a UFO

^ Once, mine waited until my mom was in earshot, then turned to me and was like "Your momma!"
I almost died myself laughing. My mom was like "...wha?" lol.
She's almost never like that, very conservative herself, so it was just too funny.

Blast, no one else saw anything? My brother and I saw quite a few different things, thought it could be world wide. Freaked me out a little, since it seemed to notice when I shone the light at it. Changed directions immediately away from us. I'm pretty sure there are places you can call to report/inquire about strange aerial phenomena. I'd be more afraid of agents on the other ends of those lines, making a file on me or something else paranoid like that.

Well you don't come right out and say you think it's a UFO when reporting Unless you're worried about Men in Black en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Men_in_black(I always thought it was just a movie thing)

I have seen a satellite wizz by with my naked eyes, many years ago when my eyesight was reasonable. It was a tiny yellowish light that travelled in a straight direction, like you would expect if it was orbiting the earth, with no erratic movements. Haven't seen a ufo as such.

I hear about this periodically and for god's sake I can never see anything even when I have my glasses on. I can recognize specific mustaches of people I know in cloud formations though. Then they move.. and becomes a smeared patch something like back hair..
