Yeah etudes, the kiwi accent is most definitely not Aussie. We don't say fesh & cheps, musec and sex (for the word "six") We tend to pronounce our words a little better haha just playin'! As for my accent, it's Australian for sure. It always gets noticed here in the USA but I've been told a number of times that I don't have a "strong" Aussie accent (like that Crocodile Hunter clown)...I guess that means it's not bogan...thank god! ;D

That's what people wonder about... what accent do I have? Because it's a lil bit of this and a lil bit of that. I was raised in asia my first 13 1/2 yrs, then moved to the U.S. but have an australian father. So I pick up a bit here and there. People say my English is easily undersandable but not American. A few weeks ago i talked to my friend's friend (never met before in person) on the phone to give her directions where to meet up and later when we met, she told me "I thought you were asian!" I think I sound like an Asian with not bad English.

"Choice!" Man, I love the NZ accent, I can pull it off and it's a fun accent to imitate. I love it!
