what's your favourite falvour ice cream?
i would've started a poll, but there are just so many flavours and i'm lazy.
here are mine (in order):
1. Coconut (plain or mixed in with soft chocolate brownies) - not from New Zealand Natural as they can't make coconut flavoured ice cream if they're business depended on it.
2. Mint ( with cookies- like in cookies and cream. not with chocolate chips, coz that's yuck)
3. Cookies and cream (as is)
4. Vanilla soft serve (plain or mixed in with oreo bits ie. Mcflurries)
5. Vanilla with a drizzling of sweetened condensed milk.

1. Coffee
2. I like mint too, I've never seen it with cookies tho.
3. Strawberry
4. Around Halloween I get pumpkin flavored ice-cream.
If I ever go to the PIs then I will try ube flavored.
Italian ices are good as well. Lemon for me. But that’s not really ice cream.
Sometimes I get a brain freeze... oh that hurts a lot.

Yay love this thread. I'm eating boysenberry (sp?) frozen yoghurt right now. It's soo yummy. I really want to try green tea i/c. China has the worst ice cream, I remember having some kinda cone ice cream, there were bits if sultanas and dried apricot (or whatever it was). Gross... on top of that, I think it was grape flavoured. My fave place to get ice cream is new zealand natural. We only have Wendy's here. My faves are: Strawberry Vanilla Lychee There's also this blsck coloured ice cream I can't remember the flavour. It's not my fave, I just like the novelty of eating black ice cream. Sesame flavour is it?

I'm going to go a little off topic and post my preferred frozen deserts;
1) Spumoni from Spumoni Gardens- Brooklyn, NY -similar to gelato but less creamy with a strong hazlenut taste. 2) Pistachio Gelato 3) Haagen Dazs - vanilla 4) Chipwich (R) 5) Rainbow Italian Ice, I'm a big fan of blue raspberry 6) M&M blizzard - Dairy Queen 7) Cherry Garcia I'm sure there are better, but for standards these do just fine.

^ nsw duzn't have new zealand natural?!? we got both them and wendy's u know wendy's 'mint madness' flavour is what i'm talking about for my 2nd fave. Coconut is so had to find in Melbourne, but in Queensland they have it everywhere. the best place to get ice cream is Cold Rock, found out about it on the Gold Coast, and ate it everyday (it was a treat, coz i wasn't sure if Melbourne had it). as fate would have it, they do have a handful of stores scattered thoughout Melbourne. i was so facinated by the concept i had to take pics what they do is u choose the icecream flavour, then an item to get mixed in (if u want), then they mash and mix it all up with these spade ice cream scoop things and tadah it's all yummy goodness. getting coconut flavoured ice cream mixing in brownies the finished product. ;D

Favorite ice cream depends on the mood I'm in.
Regular, pleasant day might have a Rite Aide brand Pistachio ice cream. The pistachio sare whole, not chopped up into infinitesimal bits like the Safeway brand.
On a stressed out, need a serotonin boost day, I'll have a Ben And Jerry's New York Superfudge ice cream, with white and dark chocolate and walnuts.
Ocassionally, the Asian Purple Taro/Ube ice cream. I forgot the brand name.

^ nsw duzn't have new zealand natural?!? we got both them and wendy's No no I live in a rural sh*thole haha, that's a nice way to put it. well atleast you have internet. so is it like paddocks and wheat farms with tumble weed rolling around and red earth, coz that's how i imagine Australian rural. Did you go to the GC for schoolies. I went last year just before schoolies began, i think it was around the time of the indy car rally. Lots of hot hapa babes at Surfer's. I met a group of ea guys when I was there nah chose not to do schoolies up there coz of the stabbings and the street brawls and stuff u hear about ont he news, so we planned for Feb when all the kiddies (primary and secondary) start school again. and so the lines for the rides woudn't be too long. but i met this ea girl up there (filo/aus) she was telling me about schoolies, and now i wanna be a toolie at the next schoolies event, hahahahha. but yeah, only saw a handful of EAs there, not too many .

So original. What came first, the rock or the stone? It sounds like the exact same place - they mash up various topings into the ice cream, thus quadrupling the amount of calories. MmmM. I admit I've only been there once. The smallest cup you can get is still like a pint of ice cream. I can never finish it. Top Flavors: 1. Banana and chocolate. But they must be together. Awesomestestest combo that owns all other combos. 2. Green Tea. Homemade green tea ice cream is amazing. 3. I have a weakness for orange or rainbow sherbet too, but I guess that's not technically 'ice cream.' Ah. I miss Italian gelato. They packed in the perfect amount in these tiny little cups and had the most adorable little spoons.
