Hi everyone, I'm new and I'm half German/Chinese... Finally, I've found a eurasian board! When I was younger, I tended to associate more with my white side, as I was a bit "ashamed" of the other side. Thankfully, that was a stage in my life, long gone, because now I love being mixed, (especially being half Chinese) I find that I stand out more than if I was only of one race and my Asian *nerdy* side ( ;D) has helped me a lot! I'm just wondering if any of you other eurasians out there had experienced these sentiments (or are still going through them)...

this is probably a sentiment that's been addressed a lot of times on these boards. not to make you feel bad, though. For you it's a new chance to express that. Maybe cristobal our resident librarian can dig up a few of those older posts, though. There's an effort to try not to be too redundant.

Yeh go find some material there, there sure is plenty. I'm sure there's a lot of likewise members here and we all went through that feeling, I think. Welcome to the clan by the way!

I find that just when you enter that phase and declare the identity crisis over something happens to give you another one. Enjoy the euphoria while it lasts, but be prepared for your self identity to change several times as you grow older.
