The same could be said for any other beer.
back on topic: My fav sushi? I usually order an assorted plate but I really like the slices of fish on rice (Nigiri?), with wasabi in between. Dip into soy sauce and YUM!

The same could be said for any other beer. Not really. Very strong ales and barleywine beers should be served at room temperature.

I mean, of course you want cold beer to remain cold. Not just Hoegaarden. Then there's those ales you have to drink hot damn this is making me thirsty...

I really need some sushi soon. Nothing is open right now I'm in a bind. I am really starting to get intolerant with things not being open in the middle of the night in this neighborhood.

My fav is unagi and the spider roll. ...austhai/...: Oven? I thought they normally cook the unagi over a charcoal grill. I wonder if there's any difference in taste. However, if I had to pick...I'd choose sashimi over sushi any day

^ I tried to eat those, but i just couldnt. i think actually seeing the whole thing in its entire shape put me off.
i've had sushi/japanese food constantly the past 3 months.. its all my coursemates want to it. and there is soooo many japanese restaurants near uni.
i cant remember the names of the sushi i like though.. i had a boston roll.. it had cream cheese in it which was interesting!!

I would consider this sashimi, but I guess I'm arguing semantics.

Squid(Ika) and octopus(tako) sashimi are often cooked, to my knowledge, more so with octopus.
Sushi has rice involved, maki, nigiri, inari, chirashi....

Squid and octopus sashimi are cooked, to my knowledge. Octopus, almost always cooked, Squid, raw. Ajitsuke Idako is that baby red cooked octopus. I'd hesitate to call anything cooked "sashimi".
