maybe i'm odd,but i eat whatever whenever.i don't feel like certain foods belong only at certain meals.sometimes i want cold pizza or saimen with lots of chili sauce for breakfast and sometimes (particularly when funds are low) an omelette for dinner is appealing. when you say it's hard for you to eat in the morning,do you mean appetite-wise or time-wise?i know a lot of people who find it hard to eat breakfast.i have to,and not long after i wake up,or i get horribly nauseous.

i voted something warm Asian since that s what i d have these past few years every morning.... warm sticky rice and mango ! but lately, i ve been eating pretty much anything .... i ve had oatmeal, chilli on toast, and then of course the usual glutinous rice but that s only when we had time to soak the rice overnight and cook it the previous evening.... but it all depends on where i live too.... when i was a teeny tiny girl still living in France we used to live on top of a "Boulangerie" ( baker shop that specializes in french bread ) and we d have croissant every morning . then in Spore, my mum would make us sandwiches or rice porridge... i d also have carrot cake or rotti prata in the morning over there ! and in vietnam, i d have freshly made soy or boon ! in Thailand i d have fried rice with lots of chili , honeydew and watermelon ! during the little time spent in the US ( over a month this year, and in total 5) , i d have pancakes ( only when i had to cook some for the kids) or oatmeal or cereals ...

Things that are pickled and smothered in vinegar should not, in my opinion, be eaten in the morning. Nor should things that still have bones in them that can potentially get stuck in your teeth. Also added to this offensive list is fish that has been salted beyond the point of recognition. The Japanese breakfast of salty, salty, salty, salty fish complete with eyes and pickled fruits is just abhorrent to me. Give me some nice pancakes, french toast, or a warm bowl of oatmeal with blueberries, cinnamon and brown sugar any old day. Also rice just seems to me to be a heavy way to start off a morning. But it's probably because it's just not what I'm used to.
I do love eating (western) breakfast foods for dinner. My mom (most likely out of laziness) would often make pancakes (from scratch, mind you) for dinner. They're awesome.

I picked warm breakfast. I usally will have toast with scrambled eggs. If I'm running behind schedule I'll have yogurt. I'm too lazy to figure out how to spell yogurt. It seems spelled wrong.... When I lived at home with my mom breakfast was usally miso soup and ALWAYS a cup of green tea.

Had Dim Sum today on Clement. We had Green Onion pancakes proably costs the place 2 cents to make. But it was good with little soy sauce. Than had Taro dumplings and than my new fav. Shrimp and Parsley Dumplings. That was my breakfast. With some kind of tea.
Than I got a massage for an hour than we were thinking to go to a Turkish place on Clement for lunch with all their Mezes but they didn't have any Kahve. So we just decided to go elsewhere. If they just had some Turk Kahvesi than we would of been there and I would have been happy. And I would of spent whatever with the Mezes and Lunch. Good Kahve gets me in the mood to eat whatever.

When I was younger my mother made me stuff like baked beans on toast for breakfast or rice porridge. Nowadays I tend to eat toasted bread drizzled with extra virgin olive oil or if I'm being naughty - churros! Normally followed by Mint tea!

I RARELY eat breakfast. The only thing I seem to have time for these days is a Multi-Grain bar as I'm running to class...

oh...anything goes. It ranges from yoghurt when I'm running out the door (only to find myself ravenous 2 hours later) to cold pizza....pasta (the works, I do a whole roasted veg sauce )...fried noodles..soup noodles....toast..crumpets...cereal....ice cream....hummous!!
Yeah, I can eat pretty much anything in the morning. Only on the rare occasion where I'm really not hungry/stuffed to the brim in the morning (usually after a heavy day or two of eating previously) will I ever not eat breakfast. And even then I'll have an early lunch/bruinch. I just can't not eat in the morning or else I feel nauseus or just a bit low...
I like my breakfast, and I like my dinner. If I had to miss one meal, these days it would be lunch (unless I am out drinking at night, where upon it's dinner) although back when I was a student it would have been dinner. Generally though I like eating far too much to skip any meal though, and I can't understand how people get by without breakfast...I'd waste away. But then I guess some people would look at me a bit strangely at some of my morning food choices...like black bean noodles!!

Breakfast almost always involves oats. Oatmeal, or Muesli, or the like.
today's breakfast:
Oatmeal, cucumber, green beans, seaweed, slice of cheese. add hot water, and microwave to make delicious gruel.

I voted warm; bacon and eggs, occasionally pancakes, waffles, oatmeal and cereals but mostly when eating out; on vacation or when you’re out late and it’s not really dinner anymore but not breakfast yet. I have to eat breakfast; I’m s*** for the rest of the day if I don’t eat something in the morning, warm is better the cold.
Lol, much like nikki I can’t deal with Asian style breakfasts; I worked in a Korea-town office for a few years, venders would drop off breakfast food every now and then 50-50 Western/Asian. Donuts (um!)/ or these what can be best describe as scrambled egg (Chicken) sushi rolls. Lol, the Korean guys couldn’t understand why I didn’t find them appetizing, they had scrambled eggs in them right?
