spicy-wise, i can take up to a moderate spicy. but i'm no way near eating a pepper straight. temperature-wise, with food, i love it hot. i'm one of those people who can eat from a bowl of hot soup right away(i.e. pho for example) and by the time i'm done eating it, it's still steaming. i guess my mouth's adapted to it so the heat doesn't really phase or even burn my mouth at all. my folks tease me about "overheating/cooking" my food. with drinks, i like it either very hot or very cold, depending on the drink. some drinks like coffee and chocolate[milk] can be good as both hot or cold. other drinks such as shakes or soft drinks, i prefer ice cold. hot showers are nice too

I like hot stuff, but I have to be in the mood for it...and it depends on the dish.
I hate when I pass on something spicy and people say "Oh you can't eat hot stuff"...
I'm like "Noooo...I choose not to eat it at this time"...
Besides, to me, chilli is a spice and I don't believe in over saturating ANY dish with any spice. Ruins the taste of the dish in the first place. Like why would I want every dish tasting of overwhelming rosemary or thyme?
If it enahances the flavour...sure...I'm all for it.
Mmmm....sambal stingray....tom yum....pho....ikan curry....
