I have an unwanted Game Cube at my place I would rather sell than keep it under my bed collecting dust. What are good advertising tips that I should use to promote its sale because I've never sold anything of Ebay.

Pay that extra fee so that a thumbnail of your item shows up when someone searches for it. You'll get more hits that way.

I have some old gear that I'm looking to dump, but they make you link a bank account to a merchant account, iirc. The only bank account I have is my top secret end of the world thing, so I don't want to connect that to anything, no matter how benign.

You can open another account, though.
