haven't been on since november, and there's something wrong with my account, I can't modify my profile

when I press "modify" at the bottom, it just goes back to whatever I originally had on my profile...I can't make any changes

and my number of posts never increases....if you notice....its like my profile is frozen

You'll have to upload your pic to a picture hosting site, like ImageShack or TinyPic (that's what I use). Then use the resulting URL from that to paste in the avatar field when you are modifying your profile. |

Thanks Groink and hypeforlife! I was using photobucket but the link didn't work for both avatar or sig. Then I tried mypicgallery.com/ and the link only worked for sig. I'd rather my avatar be a pic of me lol. Oh well I hope someone can point out what I am doing incorrectly. I tried a variety of resulting links from photobucket and mypicgallery (i.e. post to website, post to message boards, forums etc) but to no avail. And sometimes I even add the dimesions to the width and height fields in modify profile after I paste ![]() in the avatar url field. Not so savvy with these kinds of things lol.  |

Hmmm photobucket should work. I use photobucket. Which link did you choose to copy and paste? You're supposed to copy the "direct link" in photobucket and paste that in the profile's avatar URL section. And you're welcome! Glad I could help. You can call me Jen if you'd like but that might confuse me with the other more gorgeous Jen at this forum. Well...call me whatever you like lol. Jenn, Jennifer...Psycho Teddy...whatever lol.
