Have you planned anything? Are you guys nervous? You girls giddy with glee? Tell it here! I want to live vicariously though my EA brethren.. As for me, I haven't given it any thought at all. It helps when there's no-one to consider ;D Maybe I'm just bitter because I got dumped on valentines day. ok not exactly...but it was around the time that things went downhill

HEEEEYY!!! You beat me to it this year.
I love valentine's day. Love love love it. I don't know if anything's planned yet but I don't really care either. There's time for anniversaries...and every freaking day/weekend to be with s.o. (son of an ogre) but when it comes to valentine's day, I just LOVE the atmosphere. I've loved it when single too, ALL the bloody time. I don't know why. Oh yeah, and sparkles. (but nobody knows that) ;D I like planning things for friends (whatever,s.o. can wait).

Valentines Day was always my favourite holiday...I was blessed to have caring and generous Valentines...But as I grow older I realize that Valentines Day although still one of my favourite holidays is not as important as the everyday "holidays"/moments in my life with my "special" someone. Presents and dinner are always nice but I realized that the expensive gifts and dinners masked what was missing in my previous relationships and that despite me still fond of being wined and dined on "the day of all days" for lovers - everyday should be Valentines Day!
But yes my plans this year are a dinner and a movie with my guy with less emphasis on presents and more emphasis on quality time which sounds corny but means so much more to me...

Valentine's day has like, 0 significance to me. 0_0 +1 Same. I actually think I'd kind of be disappointed in my boyfriend if he was particularly attentive on that day, like the other days of the year weren't as important. The only significance it has for me is that they sell discounted chocolate the next day. ;D And I gorge myself with cinnamon hearts too.

Valentines Day is the day I started at my current work, that's the only reason I remember when I started. I'm going to do the sending of flowers to the workplace thingy and hopefully stop by her workplace as well to take her out for lunch. I figure its better to be embarrassed by getting flowers on v-day than it is to watch other girls in the office get flowers/gifts while you miss out. Plus its a nice gesture! But yep, everyday should be special

And I gorge myself with cinnamon hearts too. ooh, what are cinnamon hearts? Like cinnamon stars in Germany? I love those but they're only for X-mas. Ooh, that looks yummy. Is that gingerbread? They're cinnamon-flavored heart-shaped candy that stain if you eat too much of them. Valentines Day is the day I started at my current work, that's the only reason I remember when I started. Valentine's Day is the day I got my braces back in 7th grade. I sure wasn't getting a valentine that year.

The people I celebrate it with prefer to refer to it as Singles Awareness Day.
This year I'm spending it with a pre-arranged hangover.

not only does my bf enjoy valentines day, he's the one who actually brings up ideas for celebrating it(i just go along with it ). for the record, he doesn't treat me less significant throughout the rest of the year along similar lines, for st. patrick's day, he's already suggested that we celebrate and give each other green/irish-themed gifts. but that just maybe the irish in him talkin

On Valentine's Day, I tend to just go around saying "VALENTINE'S DAY? MOAR LIEK... VALENTINE'S GAY! AMIRITE"? I think this might have something to do with why I tend to be single on Valentine's Day.
