I love getting to experience new, (good) music... something I'm sure most other people out there also enjoy. So why not post ONE song that really connects with your soul, and your heart and all that other mushy stuff . I guess my philosophy for this is that if there's a one song limit it'll ensure quality (since we all love to ramble on..). So once posted we can all check it out and enjoy it (or not enjoy it..). If you want also explain why this song means so much to you.. Anyway.. mine is: Help Me Thru the Night by Joe Walshwww.youtube.com/watch?v=inD5db1YJn0&feature=related (There are two versions of this song, (1) by Joe Walsh as a soloist and (2) Joe with the Eagles - featured on their 'Hell Freezes Over' album. If you like the song it is worth listening to both because, although it's the same song, there are subtle and interesting differences - not to mention in different keys)I love this song because I've grown up with the Eagles and got introduced to Joe's music in this way. He is the most lively, funny and wacky out of all the Eagles and his songs are usually either optimistic, self-mocking and jovial. He used this persona to hide his sadness so when I heard this I was so touched by the sensitivity and humility of it and ever since have been totally hooked...

@ TeeHee: Wow, I had no idea there was a slow version of this song (I'm not very fond of the 'disco' version...) @ Ethel: THANK YOU!! I love this song, but never knew its name!! Definitely will download... @ CJF: Umm.. lol one[/one] song? Quite a variety you've got there... I also like Nessun Dorma (he sings it so well) @ chucky82: haha this is the song that made me practically fall in love with Bono.. @ ysl: yay! Nice to see another Eagles fan, I wanted to put so many Eagles songs.. but because of the limit I had to restrain myself. The U2 video gave me goosebumps! Damn.. Bono looks so young.. @ ChickenSoda: DAYUM! Are these guys Japanese? The lead singer looks (and sounds) like a white 80s pop diva. Cool song.. some insane piano at the beginning! The costumes are crazy! Haha, love these videos.

My favourite songs change literally day to day, but just off the top of my head: - Polonaise by Frederic Chopin: reminds me of my piano teacher when I was really little, I aspired to be like her so much. I used to make her to play it to me in full every week - Bob Marley - Redemption song: acoustic and so simple, but beautiful nonetheless - Paint in Black - Rolling Stones: my fave Stones song of all time - Etta James - At Last: I'm just in love with her voice
