Yes, is there any way that we can examine a moderator's record?

rob's attempt to start e-drama by arching up to mods = failed. Scott, have you ever watched lions stalk water buffalos in the wild? You would think they try to weed out the sick, old and dying.... which they often do when the pack is scattered and grazing. But when there's a drought and the pack is in close quarters and well defended, lions often go after the head male standing at the fore. Stupid? not really. First, the head male stands ahead of the pack, frequently leaves the pack to defend against predators and in doingso, exposes himself. More importantly though, the lions know that there is intense competition within the pack (amongst the second-tier males) vying for leadership and mating rights .... they know that if they can inflict a large gash on the head male, the second-tier males will drive the head male away from the pack, sacrifice him to the lions and lead the pack away. [hours later, the second-tier males will fight for the leadership role ] Move quickly Scott in your mod bid. Iris and Sensei are fighting wars in distant lands. They are weak and exposed. EAN has no leader. Kyu Ree is financing a sea-change in public opinion and later, when the balance of poster opinion is in her favor, she will launch an all-out assault on their banishment. Once they are displaced, Kyu Ree will take on the EAN throne and you Scott, as mod, will be the new prince, and a prince in waiting. Offer your allegiance to her, bow at all times and appear aloof and docile. When she awakes, plant rumours and embolden her into into foolish wars that divide her power base. When she is sleeping, court lions. When she stumbles, pounce. Soon, the throne will be all yours Scott. Thane of Glamis thou art, but thane of Cawdor? Cawdor should be fortunate to have thee as king my liege. Kyu's too generous with her money, really. haha!!

It is Simon's (Sensei's) birthday today.

Why would they do that? I think Proboards used to be banned in the PRC (should say BLOCKED), but has teetered between being accessible and inaccessible for a number of years. A few members averted this by using proxies, but I know it became available directly for a time. I don't know the situation now, but I think some of our members there were able to access directly in the past year. From time to time in the past, there were threads discussing China or Taiwan, and I think some of these may have been sensitive.
