Although it bothers me that Catholics are using this for propaganda purposes, it seems to be true that the pill can have a small, though significant, effect on a woman's sexual preferences. The effect I was familiar with, which I didn't notice in your articles, was an increased affinity for high testosterone men. Marriage has been shown to lower testosterone levels in males, so If you want to be creative you can imagine the divorce connection there. Link to BBC summary
