1. you just called all the nonEA guys on here ugly. 2. You're right, it's not race, it's how attractive people are. Blacks get harsher sentences than white men because they are ugly. 3. How many more superficial threads can EAN take? What? I have no idea where you got that from, maybe you need to stop reading posts with a pre mind set with what you want to see. Maybe you view everything so negative because you are a negative person. I never said EAN guys were ugly, where the hell did you get that??? My question was do people really judge others base on race or is it really looks not race and if they are confusing race issues as looks in ugly or not, etc. Maybe people don't take a like to someone because they simply just think you are not attractive and pre judge on that and maybe when some encounter this they chalk it up to race, them being black, white, asian mix whatever when in reality it has nothing to with race. On EAN the non EAN males are looked at and commented harshly is it because they are non EAN or because they are not attractive or assumed to be not attractive?U never said EAN guys were ugly. But you implied that the NON-EA members of EAN were unattractive. So you are suggesting that if 'attractive' non-EA guys came here, as opposed to the 'unattractive' ones posting now, there would be a more positive response? Or maybe people here are weary of nonEa's posting here because it's clear that nonEA men outnumber the nonEA women? Why would a guy give a s*** if another guy is unattractive? That makes no sense at all. I don't know any guys that make friends with guys based on whether they are attractive and I know many attractive girls that make friends with obese gay guys. Where's the interest in it for them? Race is a factor. Don't act like the world is colorblind. And class is a factor. People would treat you much meaner if you didn't come from an upper middle class household where you had parents to raise you and pay for any lessons you were in as compared to if you were poor.

Think affirmative action is giving preferential treatment to minorities (i.e. of racial background or sex) in employment and other things? Im not 100% sure of the definition though - but sounds like it, especially if in a field where the minority (ppl of a certain sex/racial background) are not deemed to be sufficently present. If im not mistaken there is a big debate about its apparent benefits. The purpose of affirmative action isn't to provide preferential treatment to anyone, it's purpose is to level the playing field so that nobody gets preferential treatment. It's almost like anti-cronyism. For example most colleges in the U.S. have "Legacy's" where you have a better chance of being accepted if a close relative is an alum. This is a form of white affirmative action because for a good long while in the U.S. only white people went to college. While there are obviously far more minorities going to college now that will have children who can take advantage of the legacy section of the application it's still mainly for whites to help their kids get into colleges. It seems no different than checking off an ethnic background to help your chances of getting in. They offset each other.

Is it too late to join in that group hug on page 1? You know how people always ask: Would you rather be hot or smart? Um.. hot.

That makes no sense at all. I don't know any guys that make friends with guys based on whether they are attractive and I know many attractive girls that make friends with obese gay guys. Ummm.. maybe you should really read what I said and not what you think or wish I said because I never applied any of those things You don't know me and don't know my life story and I sure ain't going to bother telling it but one thing for sure is don't assume things, not everybody ends up a angry person with issues coming from a poor background in a racist town some actually grow from it and guess what become better people and live happy lives. I hope you get there some day. I'm leaving it at that because really there is no point trying to explain myself when clearly you only want to hear and see what you want. I don't care if you don't get the point. Done and done ;D

Done and done ;D So how would your friend feel if he knew you were calling him unattractive and basically trying to make a pity thread for him in front of a bunch of strangers? Why do you end up talking about your dates with 'Armani models'? Maybe it makes you feel better making pity threads for 'unattractive' people because you aren't getting the compliments you used to get when you were younger? Maybe you yourself treated him meanly and rejected him when he was single, and you feel this pity thread for him is going to make things better? These questions are rhetorical and there is no need to answer.

^Ummm... right Actually my friends, friend knows I posted I showed him ;D and he's getting a big laugh out of your comments because you make no sense. Glad to see I am not the only one that thinks you read into what you want to see not whats really there. I really think you have anger issues and it's blinding you. I'm not phishing for compliments I don't need to, I actually have always had pretty good confidence and self esteem with myself ;D And my younger days??? What am I 80? I think your turning a post I asked about the human psych of beauty vs race into something mean and ugly and that's not me at all so I don't want to have to defend myself anymore to these lame out there accusations when clearly that is all you want to do. Maybe you feel people are so against you because of your race when maybe it's not that at all. Maybe you just come off and have that mean guy vibe? You don't have to answer it's just a rhetorical question Even if you do answer I am done with it. I'm not going to defend myself anymore via the web to someone that clearly only wants to post mean things and try to make me feel bad over nothing

So, how would you guys feel if your friend you trust made a thread about how unattractive you are and how unfair it is for you? Oh wait, here comes the superficial response "But I am attractive!"

Of course life is easier for good looking people. Hmm...I'm not so sure. Attractive people deal with a whole different group of stereotypes, such as being shallow, flighty, unapproachable, or unintelligent. I think life is probably easier for "average" people who blend in.
