Heh, I think every group likes to claim their stake in the Holocaust. You will frequently hear Eastern Europeans pointing out how more East Euros and Gypsies were killed in the Holocaust than actual Jews.
The world had and probably still has several holocausts and we don't hear about them because there are simply too many to care about. Every now and then you get the Darfurs that are lucky enough to break into showbiz because some vegetarian woman from Massachusetts starts the trend with cool bracelets which are soon mass manufactured and worn by all the teenage girls at Starbucks. But otherwise, I find the only people who care about certain genocides or conflicts are those who's family is from the area (Armenian-Americans for the Armenian genocide, Jews for Israel, etc.).
Everybody wants their story told but after a while you either run out of pages in the book or the reader gets tired of reading it.

Before giving my vote I have a question... Does Mexico qualifies as "west"? Yes, it's considered in the West.

Yeah, I can't figure out if the song is supposed to be about a Eurasian woman or a Eurasian horse. That's the same dude who sang "I Wear My Sunglasses At Night," BTW.

I see the time has come to start exploiting the Asians and Hispanics. I knew blacks couldn't do all the work with these Flavor of Love shows and the rap videos.
About two of those four Asian chicks are bound to be accidentally called "Tila Tequila" by a media journalist. One of them will probably marry Woody Allen. I don't even wanna look at the one with bad bleach job.
Like you guys, I'm trying to weigh whether the spikey haired FOBs- In-Fedoras image is worse for Asian guys than the buck-toothed computer programmer image. I'm also trying to figure out if I'd rather have these orangey, easily mistaken for an Asian pornstar chicks over the bleach-skinned, chicken-legged infantile babydoll image. But I guess Asian women will be okay as long as none of these chicks are shown throwing themselves on a white guy.
What channel will this be on?

I think that, in general, people don't like to be called something they feel they are not. It also can put them in an awkward situation where they may feel like they should "correct" the person, but there's a lot of people who don't like to be corrected, and you can appear as a "jerk" for correcting others. For me personally, I don't really mind all that much, depending on the circumstances. Or maybe they just don't like to be mistaken for an ethnic group or race that they or the people around them dislike. Sometimes I wonder, when I hear Eurasians get infuriated over being mistaken for Latino, if they have something against Latinos. Maybe they don't wanna be subjected to all the negative stereotypes that come along with being Latino. The same can be applied for any other group. It's funny because there are occasionally certain groups that people wouldn't seem to mind being mistaken for. I've heard many EAs get outraged when someone confuses them for Latino but then sound almost flattered if someone says they're Hawaiian (conjures up an image of a tropical, sexy persona perhaps). That's just one example but I think it's noteworthy to look into this sometimes. I could care less if I get mistaken for a race I'm not. In fact, most of the time I am mistaken. Doesn't bother me at all. I honestly don't find any ethnic group or race more attractive or less attractive than others, so I could give a rat's ass what group I look like.

Okay, that wasn't me after all. Woo wee, you had me scared for a second. I don't have curly black hair, I never give big smiles in photos (if I smile too big you can see my double chin pops out), and sweetfart has too much taste to try to sweep the hair to the side. Maybe someday when I'm drunk enough I'll post my pic in the members only section but for now I'm still in my shell. Don't get too caught up my self-depricating humor. People tend not to laugh when females make jokes about their own appearance (perhaps bc many times these females are really just fishing for compliments?), whereas they laugh when it's from one of the boys. Maybe I've done a bad job at conveying it through typed words but I've always thought of myself as one of the boys. I like to tease myself on my own flaws. I'm probably more content with myself than even most of the attractive people you'll ever come across. When I say something negative about myself it is ALWAYS true, I never do it because I just want to get complimented. I really do think that way about myself and probably want a hug from someone so that's why I say it. Tear** Yikes, I hope you didn't think I was referencing you in that post. It had nothing to do with any of the threads you said here. And that's good that you say what you mean (I mean, it's not good that you're speaking negative about yourself but at least you're not doing it for fake attention). Nothing to tear about.

Haha, f'reals. All those Youtube tutorials are either for round eyed complete double lids or Asian chicks with total monolids. I'm not either of those. I just have weird, big, half-slanted half double lidded eyes with bags underneath. Atop of that they arent even symmetrical so I just look weird whenever I try to do eye liner. I don't even bother doing eye shadow.

LMAO Have you ever tried doing something really different and cool with your makeup and then you have someone ask "What happened to your face?" My dad just asked if I was having an allergic reaction after I tried to do the doe-eyed look with my liner. lol I give up, I can't do eye makeup.

The Queen's accent and I guess the BBC accent are generally what most Americans hear on TV and think is attractive. I don't though. And the Cockney accent and other regional accents sound like nails on a chalkboard to me. I think the Australian accent developed out of one of the regional accent other than Queen's, if I'm correct? May be why I can't stand Aussie voices either.
But I'm just a xenophobic listener, I'll admit. My own mother has an accent of course since she's from Asia, and I feel like I would get along with her better if she was American without a foreign accent. I also think my mom is the reason why I'm hostile with foreigners (of any kind) so much. I had a Spanish roommate in Prague and I got into an argument with her over something stupid once. Her nagging was 10x more annoying with the Latin accent. I know she can't help it, and her English was actually perfect in grammar and what not. But I couldn't get along with her every time she opened her mouth.

Umm, why don't you post your picture in the member section? I'll let you know if I remembered correctly. I pretty sure it was you... It was probably the most non-rediculous image you've had as your avatar. Curly black hair, big bright smile. Your hand swept your hair to side a little bit. Does anyone else remember??? Maybe it was a joke that I never got... Ow, my stiff heart. BTW, I wasn't aiming to take down your stubborness. You perform that characteristic tastefully. It's your obession with being a "really effing ugly EA" that bothers me. That's like cutting your wrist in public. If no one steps in to tell you that you are wrong and that you shouldn't say such things, then you might get the crazy idea that it is true. Okay, that wasn't me after all. Woo wee, you had me scared for a second. I don't have curly black hair, I never give big smiles in photos (if I smile too big you can see my double chin pops out), and sweetfart has too much taste to try to sweep the hair to the side. This girl apparently studied in Japan and is obsessed with anime and all things Asian. She walked into work one day wearing a kimono and some ancient style samurai hat or whatever she said it was, and not as a joke or for any special purpose. I'm telling you, this chick's a dork for real. The label you're looking for is otaku. Anywho, she sounds like an interesting character. So you say her personality is the only thing ruining it? Speaking of personality ruining things... You need to cut that out. Always with them negative waves. You're going to need a good personality to compensate for your looks. I kid, I remember the first avatar pic you posted of yourself--the one you took down real quick ;D. I didn't see anything ugly. I thought you we kinda pretty. Your personality ain't too bad either--though a little stubborn. Anywho, hype is already laying up on the therapy couch with a broken heart. We don't need you going down from self-inflicted wounds. I do appreciate your advice and analysis, Montel Williams. Couple things that need to be clarified. I must've made some offensive stink with my remarks that correlate people who have in interest in Asian culture as being dorks. I'll step back a bit on that statement and acknowledge that the two don't always go hand in hand, but it's a stereotype I've developed with white people like that throughout the years. My bad. Thank you for the compliment, but I don't remember posting a picture of myself on here. You must be confusing me with another female user on these boards. Nevertheless, I'll gladly take the compliment all for myself. Lastly, there are no self-inflicting wounds here. You say cut it out with the stubbornness, I say cut it out with the stiffness. Always so tense and taking everything so seriously, boy how do you not have cardiac health issues already? (But seriously, thanks for the note.)
