1. Yes. 2. I believe in the Bible and what it tells us about God and us. He created all of us to be in a relationship with Him. However, all of us prefer to do things and live according to our own way, even when it leads to death. But even though we're like that, God loves us and doesn't want us to end in death, so he brought Jesus to die for us and reconcile us to Himself. God brought Jesus to life again, to give each one of us new life, and eventually judge every one of us for our actions. But before that judgment happens, when we believe in Jesus and what he has done, we can become reconciled through Jesus to God, and God comes to live within us by His Spirit, and we can experience the deep joy of having a relationship with God. 3. Because the Bible says that God wants my relationship with Him to take priority over any other relationship I have, and to not be married to someone who doesn't believe in their relationship with God should have priority over any other relationship they have, so it's been very straightforward after I understood this, to wait on God for someone who also believes in the Bible, God, and Jesus. It meant that for quite a few years, I didn't date, but then once I met my husband, our same understanding and priority of God's relationship with us has really been the strong foundation for our cross-cultural, cross-country marriage.
