The problem with you classically trained kids is that you all think you're mediocre unless you're an absolute virtuouso. If you placed your skills in the real world, and just performed with a rock/pop/folk band, you'd be much adored. Just so you know Aw, thanks. You're very kind. I did the band thing and was quite mediocre with that too. Same with sports and art. I like it. I'd rather be okay at everything, than crappy at everything. ;D And being super good at one thing might lead to some weird issues too.

VYSO? you got serious skillz oh, and still waiting on a clip of your band in the "post videos of yourself" thread VYSO has three levels. I maxed out in the intermediate orchestra before I quit altogether at 16. The senior orchestra is full of amazingly talented people that's for sure!

Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra. There are a bunch of different levels starting out with little kids, all the way up to professionals.

Japanese - Brazlian Porno I really think that japanese-brazilian combination is extremly sexy for every race. When I'm clubbing and people get to know about my ancestry people want sex tips or a date , but I'm catholic, so. I think that it's even worser with girls. I think that the stereptype is that we automatically get the south american fire and body, but the asian brain .

White/Japanese:- EA Mix that secretly believes they're better than all the other mixes. Actively search each other out. Asian dad EAs - Combination most likely to get a post-graduate degree Hm, yes I would say this true. I think that I'm the only half-asian that is proud and show of the whole time my japaneseness. Other asian mixes tend to only mention their white side Comparing to my half-siblings, yes, I'm the intelligent one. They are stupid in my eyes as they didn't afford a proper university-entrance diploma which is the minimum for our social class. Ok I'm still in school but it's no question that I'll get it.

^ speaking of that mix... i met a Japanese/Brazilian EA yesterday. he looks full japanese to most people and i must say my EAdar didn t go off (i thought he was full Japanese too) but apparently, according to friends we have in common and according to him, i m the spitting image of his sister. his sister, i m assuming, being more evenly mixed than him.
and as stray said...i wouldn t say that "Other asian mixes tend to only mention their white side". if you look around, half filipinos, half chinese, half thais, half koreans (especially actually!), half vietnamese and you name it are just as proud of their roots as half japanese people are...at least on this site they are and so are the people i know.

I think it also has to do with where you live. If you live in a predominantly white country, you might play up your white side [to fit in]. Conversely, in an asian country, you might go the other way.
Hard to say from personal experience. Never really felt white or asian. Although culturally you could say I'm "white" -- which I think is a misnomer. American, I'd say.

stray, yes here. That's why I love this forum. ahliang, I can only speak of Germany. Yep, on this side it's amazing to see the look and views of other EA. They don't like to talk about their Asian side, ok, they don't want to be offended. I'm the only one who has an full Asian father, the others have Asian mums who are 20 years younger than their German dads ... Obviously ignorant people talk about that. stray, I know what you mean. Obviously I'm under the influence of white friends, I'm basically the only Asian person they like Hm, for some reason I only have white friends but if I would met more EA like in this Forum in real life I would have a bunch of my people ;D.

Yes, I mean you're in Germany too, you know that you need an high-shool diploma (Abitur). Both have/had equal chances than me, but I guess my asian genes gaved me ambition to learn instead to rely on how sexy they are . I love them , but both even don't speak english and this turns me off

Oh! I know a stereotype for half japanese girls is that they usually turn out looking super KEEYYOOOOT in a big doe eyed, heart shaped face kind of way.
