^ Now for that I would definitely go medium-well. The truth is the majority of my 'curious' white friends often mock me with dog-eating jokes (cause I am ASIAN)! They are pretty funny yet annoying for the most part, but I don't take them offensively. I guess eating dogs (and cats?) is another stereotype to chalk up on the list for Asians (besides being good at math and academics in general)

Crispy steak - yum to the dog sorry to ask? I am so sure about that, but even if that was the case, I wouldn't criticize your dietary habits lol...

I like meaty parts medium-well and the fatty parts crispy. Unfortunately, I can't just simply have different parts of the same steak be cooked to different degrees. At least not easily.

I hope this trend doesn't go into the pit of obscurity anytime soon! I put in a lot of effort typing it up, so hopefully it's worth it!

After doing some microbiology / learning about bacteria and other scary thing I like my steak well done I'm even too paranoid to touch a public door knob That's why I don't like being overly sanitary. Makes life too inconvenient. From what I've heard, Japanese are overly sanitary. That makes them vulnerable to unsanitary conditions. Like I heard a group of Japanese tourists in the very unsanitary Philippines who got overly sick (diaherrea) because they weren't use to it being that dirty! I do wash my hands every time I take a feces but not necessarily after urination

I like to eat an occasional load of bad potato salad to give my immune system a kick in the can. Just so I can have that rare steak down the road. Or sushi. Mmm. Surf and turf.

I eat sands. Makes me immune to sands. Eat my spam. I hear that people can become tolerant to cyanide by consuming small amounts of cyanide, making the body immune to its cell inhibiting properties. (This might be off thread topic but it's to do with immune system). : )

"Medium Rare" says you know quality and eat it regularly. Can afford and partake in consumption of better cuts and not get sick of the whole "Blood" thing. Barbarian and White Collar in one.

Yeah, usually taking the middle of two extremes is the best option. I usually try to follow that path too! I think it's some Buddhist/Confucius Eastern philosophy unlike Western philosophy (the Abrahamic Religions) that tend to resort to extremes (no offense to any believers or followers).

Yeah but you don't want to go overly raw. It's a well know philosophy between two extremes is usually the best.

i like my steak extremely rare - so much so in fact that the steak is still part a living cow and the cow's still grazing happily away at its grass. yeah, that's right, i'm vegetarian.
