^ Whilst that may be a minor factor (and EXTREMELY minor factor at that), I seriously think that are other major compelling reasons, eg, - proliferation of online social networking which takes people's time and attention elsewhere, esp. for the under age 25 group. Discussion forums like these must seem old-fashioned already. Indeed, EAN may want to consider to have a Facebook webpage referring them to this forum and EAN's new website. - the indefinite delay of EAN's new website, originally scheduled for June 1. We need something here to attract members. Indeed, back in 2002-2003, it was the EAN magazine which attracted me here in the first place.

This forum looks pretty dead to me. Why would someone continually come to a forum just to complain that it is dead?

If I follow your way of thinking, email should be considered old-fashion already compared to instant messaging, which is definitely NOT. It serves its purpose just like boards where topics and discussions have infinitesimal more inputs/replies than any Facebook conversation. Since the debate is going off-topic, I guess my statement was completely accurate.

Then what is your explanation?
I think more people would come if we had a dedicated team of contributors -- articles, tidbits, information, etc.

I agree. I think EAN has to offer more than a forum.

meh, there are niche dating markets for pretty much everything else already.
Not that I'd support it in any way but it's there to be exploited I reckon.

I agree. I think EAN has to offer more than a forum. True, can we at least know what the revamped format and content are supposed to be like?
